"This property is in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, surrounded by amazing restaurants and unique shops. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The rooms are quiet; I would have not known that anyone one else was in the hotel had I not seen them in the lobby or on the elevator. They make the best scrambled eggs I've ever had at a RI! I highly recommend this hotel. I will certainly stay there again the next time I return to GR to visit family."

"The building is perfect for a conference. Parking in the garage directly across the street. The staff were very professional and friendly. I had an issue with part of the bill and they fixed it. They listened. Very meaningful! The gym, pool, sauna, and jacuzzi were all awesome! The elevators made me feel more safe. You can't get to a floor without tapping your card on a sensor inside the elevator and then pressing your floor number. Super cool!! Only odd thing is housekeeping comes every...

"I enjoyed the look of the room (exposed brick was quaint). The bed was a little soft for my liking. Only had a nightstand on one side of the bed and we weren’t able to find anyone at the front desk when we checked out (this was undoubtedly due to the fact that there was a power outage, so it did not upset me). "We have no complain about our stay other than the jacked up price during tulip time but that was expected as everywhere else. The lady that check us in was kind and helpful, we’re able to print our boarding passes. Hot tub was cold, but my kids enjoyed the pool and hubby loved sitting out on the patio with fireplace. Breakfast was nothing to brag about but internet was fast. Sofa bed was a single in case you’re planning to sleep 2 out there. Able to get extra towels and blankets for the family....

"The room smelled like someone had been smoking when we checked in but it was able to be aired out, and staff was very willing to try to help when we told them about it. The location is just a few minutes from beaches and parks which was a lot of fun! There were a lot of U turns completed on this trip, including when coming to the hotel from the south side (which isn't my favorite)."
