"What a perfect house for our extended family to stay at for 3 nights over Easter. The bedrooms and living/dining area were comfortable and well furnished and we loved the outdoor space and pool. There was plenty of space for our family which included 6 adults and children under 5 and it was an easy walk to the beach. We all liked the house and we would all definitely stay there again but felt that there were a few things that could do with modernising to make the stay more enjoyable. Overall...

"The home was immaculately clean and very well appointed. Beds were comfortable and lovely linens provided. Plenty of supply in the kitchen for cooking and serving. Only short on tea towels and could use a few more coffee mugs. We had a wonderful stay and do wish we had at least two more days!"

"Parking was very limited and at times had to walk a fair bit. Only had parking on-site for small vehicles. Accommodation a little tired but clean. Close to Kings Beach Tavern. All in all, adequate for the time we needed to spend in Caloundra."

We particularly loved the quirky decor, the peaceful treetop views into the national park from the balconies, the plunge pool for cooling off after walking up the hill from the beach, and the pool table. The location was excellent, with an easy walk to Little Cove and Hastings Street, although the short uphill trip on foot would be difficult for the elderly. "Good sized home for family, plus nanna. Clean basic home. Good yard, fenced for fur family. Lovely gift basket and lots of generous extras like , cooking oils, shampoos etc. Very welcoming. "We had a great stay at ‘the beach shack’. The house was exactly as described and check in was simple with Martin being an excellent host. It is surprisingly large and the beds were comfortable. The house had all the little extras to make a stay simple and seamless ( toiletries, basic pantry items and some bikes). Location was fantastic and the pricing was very fair. Would definitely recommend!"

"This property is in an ideal location with great access to the beach, cafe and walking tracks, ideal back yard for a small dog, our only negatives were the onsuite sinks did not drain properly, can easily be fixed, and we found the furniture a little dated and uncomfortable had to use the single seats for good support while watching tv."
