We had a great stay at the Burfield. The front desk was warm and welcoming. The room had everything we needed. It was very clean and inviting. The bistro in the hostel was fresh and delicious. The only challenge we had is that they are in the mists of construction so parking was limited.

Our family had a lovely stay at the Burfield. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They worked very hard to have our room very clean and sanitized. A bonus was having our room upgraded!

New and modern hotel
Overall a nice new and modern hotel that was very clean and comfortable. The staff person onsite was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the two bedroom suite and it was great. Communication regarding check-in and late check-in fee could be improved. Great cafe attached to the hotel, but wasn't open when it should have been which was disappointing. The hotel is a walk or short drive to the main village area, but there is plenty of parking if you make the short drive.

It was great. Quiet and clean. Easy access and only a minutes drive from the village. I was on my own and felt totally safe and secure. Property manager Mandy went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Definitely a place I would go back to!

The property’s response to the closure of the entire mountain was very frustrating. We were offered only a credit even though the entire purpose for the trip had been ruined our card hadn’t yet been charged.

Dear Guest, We thank you for booking with us; like most of the western world the Canadian government has placed strict necessary guidelines in-regards to social distancing to attempt and control the COVID-19 outbreaks we have all over the country. This has inevitably ruined many planned trips, evoked hotel and mountain closures and cancelled many planned events for everyone wishing to come and visit Sun Peaks and go skiing this spring season. It with with great sadness that we as well have closed our doors to keep our guests and staff safe. In light of recent and difficult world events our Boutique Hotel has decided to be flexible to our non-refundable booking policy. We are offering our guests to either make a one time change to there reservation or if they wish to simply cancel a credit against a future reservation. In both cases any rate difference will apply, any residual value resulting from a lower rate will be lost, and all reservations must be completed by April 30, 2021 (black out dates apply). Regards

Our stay in The Burfield was great. The apartment was brand new, very clean and with everything a family of four would need. Burfield chair is only a couple steps away, so we had the real ski in/ski out experience. We will definitely stay again. Thanks a lot!

We liked the accomodation and the balcony and the nice view of the mountain in front of us. We did not appreciate the partying that went on downstsirs while we were trying to go to sleep on Saturday night.Very Noisy..

Very nice,clean and new property. Very special security system you do not keys but have to remember code. In small kitchen you have all what you need. Close to ski lift.

We loved the place. The hotel is tailored towards winter ski trips but everything was brand new and we definitely enjoyed our summer visit as well. Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay with all modern facilities
A lovely modern building A place is very new and super clean. We found all the amenities that one would need to stay comfortably. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A nice common room to make new friends and watch movies or play board games. We loved our experience with Burfield.

Good: Friendly staff, well-organized, comfortable Not so good: thin floors and walls and so unnecessarily noisy (they should soundproof the doors at least), 20min walk to/from village although can take shuttle or slow Burfield chair to top of mountain if skiing.

It had room whereas all hotels in the village were booked for reasonable rates. The linens... towels and the room seemes fresh and clean. We did not like that it had no sitting area except at a table in the kitchen with no window. Felt very cooped in..very bare minimum for $200 we wouldn't be back.

The room was not as booked/ described. Room booked was a twin but actual room was bunk beds.

We loved how clean our room was and we found we had everything we could have needed on this Trip! My wife and myself rented a one bedroom unit and felt it was very comfortable space. Some may feel it a bit small but we thought it was a very clever use of space as in this day and age we all strive to minimize our impact to beautiful places like Sunpeaks. Well done!
