"Vi havde en dejlig uge i Mariangelas lejlighed, som ligger yderst centralt i Ortigia i en meget hyggelig gade, ud til en lille gård. Lejligheden er funktionel og æstetisk indrettet om møbleret med hensyntagen til den gamle bygning. Vi blev taget rigtig godt imod af Mariangela, og vi kan anbefale denne lille perle til andre, som vil holde ferie i Syracusa."

"Hus og have er perfekt. Udsigten over havet er fantastisk. Her er alt hvad man skal bruge til en dejlig ferie ved havet. Alt er velholdt og rent. Det bedste hus vi har haft på Sicilien, og vi har været er en del gange efterhånden. I Fontane Bianche var der vist ikke gjort klar til sæsonen endnu. Der var der meget affald i gaderne og på standen og ikke særlig pænt."

"We are a dutch family of 4 and stayed with Charlotte in august. We had a realy great time. The garden is amasing and the pool is realy nice and very clean. The house is comfortabel and complete. The house is is a good base for day trips, nice towns, nice and beautifull beaches and to visit the Etna. We highly recorment a stay here."

"Alessandro and family are charming and caring and provided a lovely location to stay whilst exploring the South / East of the island. The apartment is large enough for a family of 4, clean and comfortable. The facilities were excellent and the provision of a home cooked lasagne by the owners on our arrival was a nice (and delicious) suprise. "It was an easy drive in our rental car to Fontane Blanche from Taormina. Enzo was waiting for us and handed over the keys and a fob for the gate at the entrance. He gave us all the instructions we needed for our 11 day stay in March 2024. We got the impression that the owner may have been burned by previous renters as he was very insistent on points that most VRBO hosts would just leave in a note on the table in the room. "This lovely property is the perfect home base to explore Syracuse and Ortigia. Very close to safe public parking, the rooftop terrace is ideal for a sunset glass of wine, while the cafes near the Temple of Apollo offer your morning cappuccino and excellent people watching just steps away from the wonderful market. Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated and, along with a very comfortable bed, offered a private steam room which we loved.
