Vil ikke besøge hotellet igen
Intet køleskab (temp. var oppe på 32 grader), ingen AirCondition. Værelset var på første sal og utroligt varmt. Lånte 3 ventilator, men det var ulideligt varmt! Vinduet kunne kun åbnes 4-5 cm., Vi henvendte flere gange til reception, men de kunne ikke hjælpe. Maden var middelmådig.

We apologize for any discomfort caused.We regret to hear that the ventilation provided by the three fans was insufficient in alleviating the heat. It is disappointing to learn that we were unable to provide a more suitable solution. Please be assured that we will thoroughly investigate the matter to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to prevent such occurrences in the future.Furthermore, we apologize for the limited window opening and the difficulties you faced when seeking assistance from our reception. Very nice little hotel in the countryside which is with close proximity to the A21. Staff were all very helpful, polite and friendly. Facilities in the hotel were very good, although the room could do with a little modernization to include USB charging points and bedside cabinets on both sides of the bed. Also, the bathroom could do with being updated. Would stay here again though.

Room was very cold, had to warm it up with an old heating system. Work was being done at 7:30am, banging and drilling next door to our room. There was a non-stop hissing sound from bathroom vent and water leaking from bathroom ceiling down the bathroom light and dripping down the bathtub.

Room 128. Bathroom needs attention.
The sink was cracked and the fixtures for the hand rail in the shower were rusty. Shower was just a dribble and was quite hard to have to proper shower.

The stay was great and comfortable. Restaurant food seems warmed up and not fresh. The wifi is only good for emails and not good at all for anything else, downloads, streaming , apps have to refresh all the time.

The staff were brilliant. Warm, welcoming and friendly and happy to help. The room was ok but the noise from the room above wasn't. We were woken up early by footsteps, conversation and the tv. Suggest this is a soundproofing issue.

I booked 6 rooms here for friends after a Christmas party. I even went into see them to ensure the rooms were all allocated correctly. 2 double rooms and 2 lots of 2 rooms adjoining as they were families with young children. Sadly that was a waste of time as the pre allocated rooms weren’t given to them on arrival! I spent half an hour with the receptionist over a week before the party who even showed me which rooms they’d all have. The man who then checked my friends in even argued the case with them saying you Can’t allocate rooms! When you book a hotel,(and give them quite some business paying for 6 rooms) and go out your way to ensure it’s correct you expect better service! I had a family split with children all under 10 not in adjoining rooms as promised!

Sadly lacking.
Long wait in reception at check in. No staff to be seen. No welcome when they did appear. Not enough pillows. Nobody on reception to report this to or ask for extra. Nobody at the bar so couldn't get a drink. Decor and bathroom tired. Door hanging off wardrobe with protruding screw. Couldnt sit up in bed and lean on headboard because bed ahot across the room! Window didn't shut and the electric heater was not working and.was not properly attached to the wall. Hot water and heated towel rail were good. We werent offered breakfast so we didn't have any! Nobody at reception when we checked out so couldnt raise any of these issues in person.

We like it here
We are regular customers and we like this hotel (even though it’s a bit dated!). Good location for us to visit family in Tunbridge Wells, and close to major road network. Rooms are quite well equipped (much better than a Hilton we stayed in the previous night at twice the price!)

Hotel was good overall. Rooms good,but person above is was like an elephant walking around!..so soundproofing could be better. Food was very good.
