"If you would like a taste of indian luxury at a reasonable price then Umaid Mahal is a good place to start. Everything in the hotel is extremely well kept with high-quality furniture being used in reception, rooms restaurants, etc. The only disadvantage is that it is not centrally located. It takes about 20 minutes in a rickshaw to come to City Palace, but this drive will on the other hand give you a view of everyday Jaipur."

Efficient check-in, even though we arrived 3 hours later than expected at 4am and thoughtful call the next morning before the breakfast service closed. "A quality 5-star hotel at an afdordable price. Huge rooms with a fantastic view. Two pools and gardens in the sky. Very observant and helpful staff. Location is both good and bad - good for being away from the hazzle of the many people and beggars as well as the worst traffic noise of Delhi, and bad for being quite far from the main points of interest. It will take you 45-60 min. to come to Old Delhi"
