Comfortable rooms, amneties, gym, spa, lot of space by the lake for activities, good internet, great and helpful staff. Easy access to many wonders of nature within an hours drive. 2 .5 hours from gilgit airport. A gread getway to rrlax and unwind. Highly recommended ..."

"Beautiful rooms in a former palace. The grounds and buildings are lovely. The service is very good. The breakfast buffet is not as good as similar hotels in larger cities, but still very good. The a la carte menu is better than the evening dinner buffet. Over all, a great experience. "

"This hotel was amazing and had a fully functional high quality restaurant. The views of surrounding snow capped mountains were amazing. The only problem was that the entire Skardu town had wifi problems and electricity shortages. Hotel had generators to cope with the situation. The hotel said that local government is trying to solve it. The only workable sim card for phone was S-com but even that was on and off depending on the terrain. So be wary of that. Of course it was not hotels fault....

"Surprisingly it was GREAT !!! Very friendly people thru out. A good personality OWNER. Watches things himself to make sure customers are well taken care of. Property is clean. Good garden to enjoy a scenic view in the sun. May be a little far from the city center, but an excellent place for vacations in Skardu and around. Food is unbelievable. All things tasted like any 3-4 star hotels in big cities. Service is top notch too. All thumbs up !! "

"The property location is not good and very far from city with no access to market or shops nearby. The property doesn’t have a lift and we had to climb up three storeys for room access. The room was big however the sitting area mattress was in a poor condition. The staff is friendly and helpful. "

"I went to Leh towards end of January for a peaceful retreat, the staff of this hotel made my experience amazing. They helped me plan the perfect itinerary and arranged for transportation. The amenities of the hotel made my stay comfortable. The location is convenient (2 mins walk to the main market). I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are planning a trip to Leh."
