"Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Carlos qui est super gentil et très à l’écoute. Pour les prochains vacanciers Carlos maîtrise à la perfection plusieurs langues dont le français. Bien utile pour profiter de ses judicieux conseils. Notre location était parfaitement conforme à la description avec en plus la visite quotidienne des 2 adorables chiens de Carlos et de sa discrète épouse. "Nous avons passé un séjour trop court. Le logement est comme comme ecrit sur l'annonce dans un endroit calme avec une belle vue. A 10mn de Porto beaucoup de coin a visiter. Propriétaire tres accueillante et disponible. Si on doit trouvé un defaut c la cabine de douche, le pommeau n'est que orientable on peut pas l"enlever du support. "We did enjoy our stay in this great holiday villa a lot. It is very calm, yet close to Porto. Many things to see in the environment but also a great place to relax and enjoy the pool, the views across the Douro valley and the nice house, which is well equipped. "This house is beautiful! The house was depicted exactly as the listing. It was a very large and well stocked kitchen with all the pots/pans etc you need. The garden was beautiful as well with a beautiful pool and lovely outdoor furniture to enjoy. Beds were very comfortable and home was very clean. The only thing was concerned about with the house was the beautiful staircase as I have a 3 years old and an 8 year old. The railing has large gaps so please be mindful if you have small children....

"Loved the place, Adriana is the best host. Well equipped, we cooked all our meals (stayed 2days). Only warning, it is a long way to the nearest store (20 min drive) so take everything with you. Loved our time there, breathtaking views and absolute calm."

"As the name implies, this was an excellent place to get to know Madeira. The grounds of this property is truly a gardener’s paradise with *labeled* endemic Madeiran species as well as exotics, including massive rhododendrons. "Loved the location and host at this property. A beautiful view from the terrace. Large home with plenty of space to spread out and walking distance to everything. Lots of space to park your car in the yard. My only suggestion for the owner is to perhaps purchase a heat pump or 2, so you aren't primarily reliant on the fireplace for heat in such a large home. :)"

"We loved it and it felt really safe. Not downtown so it was calm. Nice spot if you like to hang out by the water (at sunset or else). A bit cold in the evening and with the wind at this Time of year (february) but there is a Wood stove easily usable :). The hosts were sympa too :). Recommand it!!"

"Das Haus ist eine sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft auf Madeira. Victor ist ein hervorragender und sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Selten haben wir es erlebt, das und soviel Zeit gewidmet wurde. Tipps zu Restaurants, Umgebung, Ausflüge etc. Die Ausstattung bietet alles was ein schöner Urlaub braucht. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt. Auch die Aussenanlage ist gut gepflegt und bietet viel Platz zum Erholen. Der abendliche Blick auf Funchal ist phantastisch....

"A beautiful villa in wonderful surroundings, well equipped and spacious. Dante and Rosa were wonderful hosts, providing us with home made cake, biscuits, bread etc and were extremely helpful. The National Park was a delight and we spent interesting days in Porto, Braga, Montalegre and Guimaraes, as well as swimming in the river and the pool. "The pictures show less than reality. Don’t doubt about this property cause it’s just perfect! And what about the host. In more than 30 rentals on those kind of websites, I’ve never seen an host that dedicated to his guests. Would go back again!"
