"It is Hydra, and there are some steps to be climbed to get to it either on foot or by donkey, but our kind host Theodora has a gem of a property at which to stay close to town. It is very neat and clean, with a little inner courtyard for eating dinner and visiting with friends, and a roof top area that can be climbed via a narrow stair case with great views of the surrounding neighborhood and Hydra Town. (This was a really nice feature) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend...

"It is everything listed! The only issue may be how steep the stairs are, but this is not unusual on Hydra or in Greece for that matter. Things are built upward, not outward so there are usually steep stairs at hotels and even restaurants. I only mention it if you have older or weaker members, they may not be able to use the upstairs. My wife and I had no problems though and we're well over 50! Rania is very easy to work with and attentive! Definitely a great place to stay!"

"We had a wonderful week. It is a beautiful large apartment, with three big bedrooms and a living room... and I don't know how many balconies. The view is fantastic. there is also access to the pool which you share with two other apartments (which means you basically have it for yourself). Beautiful solitary beaches all around! Great and helpsone host. Highly recommended"

La maison est très agréable, merveilleusement aménagée, et la terrasse au dehors offre un magnifique point de vue sur une végétation luxuriante. Une petite route en lacets conduit à ce petit nid caché dans la verdure, avec de magnifiques vues sur la montagne et la partie bord de mer de Tyros. Un peu chaud en cette fin juillet et début du mois d'août."

"it's a great place, lots of room, big pool and a tennis court. 3 minutes drive from the nearest beach. you must have a car. very clean and well equipped. too bad there were fire alerts so we couldn't use the outdoor BBQ & pizza over."

"We were six adults who spent a week in Nikos' house. The house is beautiful, and wonderfully decorated and furnished. The view is spectacular, and we appreciated that it truly was in the middle of nature, only looking out at the olive trees and the sea in the distance. We walked or bicycled the small distance to the nearest beach. The beach was perfect, very clean, very few people and with crystal clear waters. Excellent for swimming. Nikos was a very kind and generous host. All in all...

"This house was absolutely ideal. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, meeting us at the ferry and ensuring everything was set up for our comfort. The location of the house is excellent, with its cleanliness and tastefully done decor standing out. This was one of our best stays in a long while, and we are certainly planning to return."

Both our VRBO contact and the person who lived downstairs were both really helpful but not at all obtrusive on our holiday. Porto heli is nice. We should probably have hired a car to explore more but taxis were easy and not too expensive. Spetses was lovely to visit by water taxi."

The terraced garden with its Mediterranean plants and the refreshing pool make even the July heat bearable. The island of Hydra is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. The owner of the property was very nice and accommodating.
