Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Oxford - Anniston. I did see where you chose the "upgrade" option through the 3rd party you originally booked through; I even went back to make sure they were providing the correct images of our 2queen suites. They are in fact the correct images which you continued to select the upgrade option perhaps the notion that suites of all hotels are the same was what you believed to be true however that is not the case nowadays. A suite refers to a room with upgraded amenities typically not found in a standard/basic room; such as but not limited to living room, sleeper sofa, microwave, fridge, additional tv’s, etc. Different brand properties have their suite layout different from the competitors for example these Suites may be divided into separate spaces such as additional rooms sometimes they’re divided by a drawback curtain other times there is nothing to separate the two spaces. Each hotel brand and hotel property (corporate or franchise) have difference guides and/or amenities that make a suite. For future reference we suggest calling the property you intend to stay at directly and asking their agent to give a description of the room you have reserved this will be the best way to ensure your expectations are met or if in our case we didn’t have what you expected our staff might’ve suggested you stay in the standard room or offered insight to other properties that had exactly what you were looking for. We are not in the business of scamming people on the contrary, we continuously strive to meet guests needs. We hope you'll still consider Wyndham hotels, best of luck in all your future endeavors.
