Intet luksus over dette hotel
Et hotel, som på ingen måder lever op til Fairmont standard. Personalet har ingen ide om service, normal takt & tone eller blot almindelig omsorg. Smuk bygning i forfald, men alt klasse er long gone. Personale med solbriller i panden og gæster i crocs. Forvent mcdonalds standard.

Château Laurier ne mérite pas de porter le nom de château ou le nom de Sir Wilfried laurier !! Une très mauvaise expérience. Le Hilton ou le Westin sont tellement supérieurs

Me encanto este hotel, super bonito, el personal fue muy atento con nosotros en especial el concierge Raphael nos envío un detalle de unos postres por nuestro aniversario y fue super atento en nuestra estadía, un servicio de 10. El cuarto super bonito, comodo, el hotel muy bonito tanto por fuera como por dentro. Super ubicado, caminando a toda la zona turistica de Ottawa, volveríamos a hospedarnos aquí, felices.

Staff were excellent, room was very nice. Would’ve preferred a mini fridge that was empty to use vs stocked with $$$$ liquor n snacks. The restaurants within were very good, but wise to make reservations. Be aware that valet parking is the only option. Did not use pool, so cannot comment. But many lovely sights to see! Friendly Canadians!

The castle is gorgeous, clean and conveniently located beside Parliament Hill. Gorgeous views of the Parliament as well as of The Ottawa River . Everyone working there was really nice and polite. The only challenge was the valet parking, when it is busy it can take 40 mins to get the car back.

I enjoyed my stay. Very good hotel. Few things to improve, the mirrors in the room were very dusty. The fan in the washroom wasn’t working. The staff in the bar were not as pleasant as others. Overall it was a very good stay.

Very disappointed with the Ottawa Fairmont! Stayed in a Deluxe King Room, that was super dusty and had an awful dirty socks smell not worth the $514 per night! Not recommended at all! Look somewhere else if you want comfort and clean room! The staff were cold and not helpful!

Valet service was bad. We checked in Friday night and left Sunday morning. No self service for electric car so the Valet service was going to take care of the parking and the charging of the car. Sunday morning, it took 1 hour to get the car, not charged so we couldn't go back to Montreal. I had to stop to fast charged the car so it took another hour and a half. The valet service and the charging of the car was longer than my travelling time. The worst Valet service ever. The manager said he would refund the 2 days of valet parking so let's see if that gets done.

Was not a pleasant stay. Went with my two kids and mother for Mother’s Day and paid for a double room. It was a single room the size of a closet. Wanted to bring the kids swimming, and found out we needed reservations. The pool could only accommodate 10 swimmers at a time, but there were only five in the pool and five fully dressed along the side of the pool. For $460 a night it was AWFUL!

We love the location, but we are very dissappointed with the room: dust on tables, as though they were never wiped; crack in one of the drinking glasses; ice machine broken - no ice; no complimentary slippers or bathrobe; old bathtub; no useable fridge, inconvenient overnight parking...cracks on walls, torn wall paper...restaurant menu did not look appealing, we are quite dissappointed.

Unfortunately the property is extremely understaffed. The front desk had one person working in a very busy checkin day and throughout and many issues were had with checkin and questions throughout the stay. The hotel itself is beautiful but service is not the Fairmont standard
