"The villa has a lot of atmosphere. It is an old house, which gives it a lot of character, some things may call for a bit of upkeep at first sight, but you forget once you settle down in the wonderful house and garden. The house is in a small, very close community, and even though there are many neighbors, it is extremely quiet and very safe and welcoming. People constantly walking their dogs - which we like, we love dogs. Laguna and Dana Point just around the corner. Great shopping in the area....

Drew has designed it to bring in as much light as possible during the day. He has taken advantage of the peekaboo ocean view in his window placement in the remodeled kitchen/bar area. Beaches, restaurants, grocery, boutiques all just a few minutes' walk with a trolley stop nearby to take you all up and down the coast. "Loved this cottage! It was exactly as described, close to the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We rented bikes at Newport Pier, about 4 blocks from the house. They do have a small garage but we parked on the street. My husband and I stayed with our 2 teenage kids."
