"Enjoyed the breakfast. Super fresh and certainly a step up from the chains. The stairs were a bit cumbersome; fortunately, I’m in good shape for my age but this would be tough on a lot of seniors. Be sure to book first floor if available. The common areas were spacious and egress from both the back and front was great. And it was a short walk (1/2 block). to the clubs, bars and restaurants in the Short North district. "

"Gary was the perfect host. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and felt “at home” instantly. We also had the chance to meet his lovely wife who was friendly and welcoming as well. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. All the little extras like home made cookies, banana bread, fridge full of water and soda added to this already wonderful stay. "We had a very enjoyable stay at the Gaslight B&B. Our room was clean and spacious with an equally clean and spacious private bathroom just outside the bedroom (we were on the 3rd floor in the Jewel Room). The inn was on a quiet street in a charming neighboorhood with fun shops and restaurants. Maria, our host, was great! "I loved the room "quiet" it was extreemly clean and quiet and the hot tub was easily accessable and also was clean and nice to hang out in...the only thing that was a bit hard for me was sewell road, its not in the best shape and i drive a sports car with 20 inch rims so i could only go about 10mph up the road till i reached the location but that is not the hosts fault they can not control the condition of the street, other then that it was a wonderful experience and earn 5 stars in all aspects...

"We will stay here again for sure! This house is amazing but we stayed on the 7th acre in the second house. It is a very old house but the care taken to keep it clean is amazing. We rented for my daughter’s wedding and it was more than enough room for everyone and to get ready. It’s on a main drag but you’d never know it. Once upon a time…
"I Think Galt is an OK Old-timers hotel. Nothing special and here is the issue - they believe they are special - but at Best impossible Big with to many facilities or at worst out sourced francises with no quality control. I bought myself breakfast at Walkers Exchange - great coffee, rest delivered back at a full 26 dollar charge - leaving a huge hotel in an empty stomach of course doesn’t improve your already so-so experience - so ok hotel - ok surrounding, but not worth the price and zero internal quality control in my mind. Will I be back - NO!"
