It is a good place to stay while exploring the area. The room was clean and smelled good when we arrived. The view to the lake is very nice and for breakfast there is a wide selection to choose from. If you are a tall person then the rooms on the second floor might not be convenient because of it's size and tiny bathroom. The host was very nice so was the other employees.

Hyggeligt hotel med dejlig badebro og tæt på hallstatt. Dog måtte vi ikke benytte toilettet efter vi havde checket ud.

Hotellet har en fantastisk beliggenhed lige ned til søren, og der er en skøn udsigt fra værelset. Værelserne fremstår dog "trætte", og trænger virkelig til en opgradering. Vi blev i vores booking ikke gjort tydeligt opmærksomme på, at parkering skulle betales separat, og at der endvidere skulle betales et "resort fee" på et betragteligt beløb. Dette er dog ikke direkte hotellets skyld. Begge dele kunne læses under "det med småt", men dette virker som en måde at skjule beløbene på, som gør at den totale pris for hotellet er højere end det man får frem på sin søgning på hotels.com. Der var en OK morgenmad på hotellet og en hyggelig morgenmadsstue, og personalet var flinke til at servere kaffe osv. om morgenen.

rather good for the money no traffic quite easy to walk around and the air is clean, you can not see it. only problem is lack of various resturants, there were two but Hallstatt is 3 miles away and full of any thing you may want to eat

The room was very clean and quiet with a stunning lake view. The staff was helpful when I had question about checking in. It’s a good place nearby to stay when visiting Hallstatt.

Situated on Lake Hallstatt with great views of the lake and surround area. Has great access to all transportation to Hallstatt, being right next to to dock and bus station and a scenic 3 mile walk around the lake. This hotel is located next to the Obertraun train station. More calm and less hectic than Hallstatt itself, which is great as Hallstatt is just a quick boat or bus ride away. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was great. Rooms were very clean and a great perk with the balcony. The lakeside patio was an amazing addition to this hotel. Only lower than 5 star rating was the surrounding area which had limited food options...but again, worth is since the area was less crazy with tourists and Hallstatt is easy to get to. Lastly, the price of this place for being right on the lake is unbeatable. Will be staying here again.

Hotel was clean, had great views of Hallstat which is primarily why so may stay in these 2 small towns, staff were very accommodating and allowed me to do a convenient after hrs check in. Also, had a great breakfast with lots to choose from. Price was very reasonable and would highly recommend this hotel as it sits right up against the lake and you can see Hallstat back in the distance. It’s only like a 10min drive over to Hallstat. Safe the money as Hallstat prices have really escalated and this hotel is very reasonable which includes breakfast. Enjoy and safe travels

The staff was unhelpful and not exactly courteous. We had no front desk when we checked in. The hotel next to us was better with a helpful front desk and helped us out with information. I would not go back to our hotel again

Best option to visit surroundings
We were received in a very polite and efficient manner. With early check in. They gave us one of the best rooms in the Hotel, with incredible view and balcony. Thank you. Many activities to do in the surroundings, and easy to rent bikes, e bikes, kayaks, etc. Instead of staying in Hallstatt, stay here and row, paddle or bike to the city infront.

Not providing extra bedding, like for 2 person 2 pilows. Just minimum. Front desk person was very helpful. Breakfast was with minimum items over priced and the land lady was just observing.

I arrived at the property to find no one there and unable to check in. Finally another guest happened to walk by and showed me how to check myself in. This was 6:30pm and there was absolutely no staff. Not only was there no staff, the place was completely locked up.I made a reservation at this place because I wanted to enjoy the beautiful terrace on the lake but unfortunately it was closed with no access. The restaurant and bar was already closed too. At 6:30pm! Not only that, the vending machines were completely empty. Only thing to drink at that time was out of the bathroom faucet. Another important thing to know is there is very little around this hotel. The only place nearby to get a drink or something to eat closes at 8pm. This place has mediocre reviews for a reason. Take your chances some where else.

We were providing a key box to check in by yourself. for your better organisation we recommend to read your mail account before you complain about your missing time management.

No amenties inside the micro-room (e.g. no kattle and no cups). Toilet is tiny and unable to move around inside room and toilet. Staff services could be better. Parking is not free, and it costs Euro 13.50 per night. Buffet breakfast is on the high side.

Olağanüstü! Amazing!
Sanırım bölgenin en güzel manzaralı oteli. Gerçekten hizmet ve servis kalitesi harika. Bir kere daha sadece bu otelde konaklamak ve dinlenmek için bile gidilebilir. Göl manzaralı odalardan birini tutmanızı özellikle tavsiye ederim. Kahvaltısı da olağanüstüydü!! Teşekkür ederiz.

Inconsistent hot water supply. (Turned on the tap for several minutes, still it was just warm not hot at all. Told the host about it and was told nothing could be done.) Disappointing breakfast for 20 Euro. Great coffee machine and lake view tho.

The room had everything that we required. A little small. However, it had everything a Hotel room normally has. The views from the room were outstanding. It was comforatble. It was clean. It was Quiet. It met all our requirements. Thank you.

It’s far from Hallstatt (if you want to walk) and the ferry and train shut down early. There was no staff at night and breakfast was pricy. Hotel was clean safe and fairly quiet. Not sure it was worth $215 usd.

yours 3 ladies ! thanks for your stayment at our lakeside proberty. if you read our terms & conditions you will recognize that we have no 24 hours service time. you were arriving at arround 6 pm incl. check in service by proberty stuff. our check in time is until 7 pm. for your booking your are responsible by yourself. gps position of proberty has been given to you in advance. you will reach Hallstatt by public transport (bus) within 8 minutes, by walking witin 50 minutes. last ship to Hallstatt is at 4.30 pm. you can return by public bus til 7 pm. later you can take a taxi which is 18 for 3 person. you made your reservation with a booking channel. 15 % comission 10 % extra comission as you are collecting points for your free stayment after 10 bookings. 3,5 % credit card fees for US virtual credit card. in total about 28,5 % fees for proberty. you complain about price ! this is more than strange ! you left proberty without payment parking fee for your US truck (US number plate). you complain about breakfast buffet fee of 20 which has been not taken by yourself. If you go to german / austrian / czeck supermarkt you should know prices. Sorry, probably you go shopping inside US super market on your air base (without vat). according data securtiy reason we did not mention your base. by regarding your given review and seriously if you regard our given service you got a great value !
