"Lovely property on Aughris Head. We were able access locations throughout Co Sligo. It was a bit hard to find initially but the EIR code made it easy (ask the host for this and enter it in Google maps). We loved being surrounded by sheep, green pastures, and the sea. Host was responsive and helpful."

One suggestion for the owners is to provide instructions on the use of appliances particularly those appliances that are unique to Europe e.g. the combination washer- dryer, hot water heater in the shower etc. we figured it out eventually but a how to booklet would have been helpful."

Musty (once numerous air fresheners were put inside a cabinet, because the chemical smell gave me a headache, the musty smell was strong). Poor communication by “host” especially regarding heating issues. The house is filled with knickknacks, covering many surfaces- most of which appear to be castoffs from when it was actually lived in. There is no internet, which should be pointed out in the description (many people won’t...

"We were expecting the unrivaled scenery of Ireland. But to be able explore from a cozy remodeled police station was icing on the cake. Every room was clean and well stocked right down to the wood and coal for the fireplace. The hostess was warm and so helpful. We felt like we had known her forever. I will be recommending this property to family and especially to business clients that need a chance to decompress. THANK YOU SHIELA AND VRBO."
