"Let me start by saying it worked for our stay but caught us off guard. We are used to having access to the full property without the owner being onsite. In our experience and conversations with VRBO support this property would not be defined as not a VRBO due to the shared space. What we found was that the listing does not tell you that you are renting out the basement of a home and there are amenities listed that we did not find at the property. "This place is a small cottage in the back yard of a suburban home. The cottage is very small with a combined bedroom/kitchen and not much room to sit, but there is a large back yard for when the weather is good. The kitchen is limited, but there is an outdoor barbecue which we made use of. Jerry was easy to communicate with, and the price for the DC area was excellent. It would be difficult to stay here without a car."

"It's a decent place to stay. The building is modern, clean, and suite is well equipped. A few minor grips. 6 soft low quality pillows does not substitute for 1 good firm pillow! The neighborhood is safe, but as is the case in many US suburbs/exurbs it's not really walkable. There are areas where the sidewalks just end, and they are not well lit at night, say if you are walking to supermarket. The building gym, looks great but the equipment eg. the elliptical trainers are poor quality glitchy."
