"What a fantastic location and overall experience! The room was clean, comfortable and we had a stunning view of the ocean. Each morning, we walked on the beach at low tide and were able to see the seals with their pups. The interpretive folks were set up on the beach and ready to educate visitors on a variety of topics, they also did a nice job of keeping people away from the seals as people can receive costly tickets for being too close. "We wondered why there was a basket of packaged earplugs at the front desk. Well, there are hundreds of sea lions on the river front, barking nonstop. We use a sound machine at night; the barking wasn’t bothersome for anyone in my group. "

"Nice hotel, not on the water and that was fine with us. Our Family rented a House on water so we spent all day there. My only complaint is the bathroom. I am 6’2” tall and the toilet is so low, I felt like I was sitting on the floor. They need to upgrade to newer higher ones. Other than that, everything was fine."
