Really good place to stay right in the heart of Marlow. Plenty of public car parks available within a short walking distance of the pub. Nice comfortable rooms with tea and coffee facilities. ( Nespresso machine made a nice coffee) Staff friendly and helpful. Have stayed before and would definitely stay again. Marlow is such a wonderful place too.

The Chequers Marlow was in a perfect location, just what we were looking for. We had a drink in the Hotel bar but didn’t eat there, instead we chose to dine at The Coach up the road, one of Tom Kerridge’s many establishments in Marlow (all worth a visit) which was Amazing, highly recommend. Marlow it’s self is beautiful and The Chequers doesn’t disappoint, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

fijnhotel middenin Marlow
Prima hotel aan de Highstreet in Marlow. Met een fijne pub, waar het goed is om een pint te drinken. Kamer (4) was ruim met een heerlijke badkamer met een regendouche.

Very noisy rooms but excellent location
The kitchen extraction fans are extremely loud below some of the bedrooms to the point where they almost vibrate the entire room. In addition the rooms have very loud showers which can be heard in neighbouring rooms. I would strongly advise the hotel to inform guests of these discomforts ahead of booking. Room six is definitely the worst. In addition the bathroom has a heavy amount of mould on the ceiling and walls. You can't fault the location for if you're looking for a good night sleep I would recommend paying for the suite or staying somewhere else

Fab place!!!!
What a perfect romantic place in a very charming town. Everyone was so kind. We had a delightful time. Rooms were thoughtfully laid out and the pub downstairs simply delicious. We plan on coming back in March.

Really noisy at night, the air conditioning unit from downstairs was so loud and kept me awake most of the night. Room decorated beautifully and great location just don’t know whether the sleepless night was worth it

We very much enjoyed our recent overnight stay at the Chequers Marlow. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were super hospitable. The weather was very rainy so we spent most of our time in the pub - such a great place to be. The evening meal was amazing - there was plenty of choice and what we received was beautifully plated and above all delicious. Thanks for the experience.

Will use again
Lovely establishment in a great location and easy parking close by. Rooms are comfortable and nice decor, although our room was a little too hot at night. Would highly recommend.

Ok, but noisy and could be more comfortable.
The room itself was nice, with a decent shower and nice toiletries. The bed was comfortable but if you are going to advertise a double bed, have a double matress and not two singles. The big dip in the middle was a pain. We had a room a the back and there was a lot of noise from the room next door (when they had a shower or something at 11pm) and the walls are clearly quite thin. There was an air conditioning unit in the room which was very noisy. At 7am a generator in the pub turned on and was very loud, waking both of us up. The pub itself is nice, staff were good and food was nice.

Great accommodation, the pub is in the centre of the village so expect some noise if you stay - we were absolutely fine with that as we loved the atmosphere!

Pleasant surprise
Booked last minute whilst visiting Henley regatta. Everywhere full or ridiculous prices. My expectation was quite low for a high street pub. However, the chequers was absolutely great. Large bedroom and bathroom. Nicely decorated. Nice products. Bottled water each day. Very comfortable bed. Check-in/out was slick and friendly. Our room was overlooking the high street so we closed the windows in case of noise first night. As a result the room was very hot despite good fans. Second night we left the windows open and it was perfect. There was actually very little street noise. It was a little overpriced but considering it was Henley week it was excellent value. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Quintessential Hotel
What a lovely quintessential hotel/pub in the centre of Marlow, beautiful querky room, not generically modern which seems to be taking over these days, very clean and comfortable, staff were lovely and accomodating, overall would highly recommend for a weekend break, good value for money in the area

Excellent location and amazing staff-very unlucky to have live bands performing on both nights we stayed there.We we’re notified about the one on the Friday evening but the Thursday evening one was an unpleasant surprise.

Nice accommodation, pity about the noise
Lovely room and service. It would have been good to know about a band playing in the pub downstairs beforehand as it was extremely loud until 11pm. Advance warning would have allowed us to plan our stay factoring this in or find somewhere alternative to stay.

The Chequers is obviously a very popular pub so it is nice to record that the room accommodation is quite insulated from any bar noise. We travelled by rail to Marlow so the short walk to the pub was a welcome bonus. The staff were without exception extremely polite and attentive. Congrats !

Lovely little pub with rooms.
We stayed for one night in room 6. Big, spacious room, my only complaint, we didnt have a working shaving point or usb charging point. The bed was very comfy and the hotel is situated in the heart of Marlow, close to everything.

A comfortable stay. The staff were great, helpful and accommodating at all times. Noise levels were as expected for pub accommodations. The morning breakfast was very good and we recommend the Chequers Marlow for your stay.

A lovey place to stay great location in the centre of marlow lovely big room with brilliant shower Unfortunately the bed was so uncomfortable as it was 2 singles attached to make a double (room 6) wouldn’t stay here again unless other rooms have proper king size beds

One night in Marlow
hotel is based in a traditional villiage/town Pub on the high street so a very good location. parking is a 5 minute walk away. rooms are tidy and clean, nice bathroom with very good shower. My bed was not the best, a bit lumpy but still had a good night sleep.

Lovely old building right on the high street in the heart of Marlow, so perfect for shopping etc. Public car park was just 5 mins walk away but beware it gets very busy (but only £6.30 for 1 day stay which was good value). It's an old building so sound proofing is not great (upstairs shower very noisy, as was the kitchen extractor in the morning) and we had a bad drains smell from our bathroom (think maybe newly renovated and perhaps there's an issue with plumbing?). Our room was very large and bright, with lovely decor, comfy bed, with huge shower and nice toiletries. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, allowing us to store our bags as we arrived before check-in) and the food looked good.

Right in the heart of Marlow
Had a lovely stay at Chequers Hotel in Marlow. Spacious comfortable room with great shower. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Perfectly located right on the centre of town.

Pub with a few (nice) rooms
Basically a pub with a few (nice) rooms. Poor service on arrival - as if we weren't supposed to be there. No parking, which is an issue in Marlow. Noisy early in the morning meant don't expect a lie-in.
