The location is really good. The staff working there is really welcoming and kind. Great service. The comfort of the bed was bad. I had trouble falling asleep.

Ok ophold
Renligheden er engelsk standard- tvivlsom. Sengene var udmærkede. Badeværelse ok, men udsugningen virkede ikke. Den engelske morgenmad var udmærket men til den kedelige side. Beliggenheden er rigtig god og af den grund kunne jeg godt finde på at overnatte der igen.

Fodbold hyggetur
Der er altid god service på Gardens, det var ikke første gang vi overnattede her. Dog er deres morgen buffet lidt kedelig, hvis man vælger standart. Der kan tilkøbes andet.

Centralt beliggende slidt hotel
Generelt et slidt hotel. Værelserne: Sengene er bløde “banan-senge” Vi havde intet varmt vand og måtte flytte værelse fra første sal (rum120). Der var iøvrigt en del larm om morgenen fra gaden af pga tømning af diverse containere. Værelset vi gik på 4. sal (rum 403) lå fint og havde varmt vand, men havde også en larmende rotor på toilettet og også her stadig banan-senge. Morgenmaden kunne købes til £5 og var OK

Only two plugs in the room and electrics were also dogey. Is okay for a one night stay but would not recommend.

De ligging was prima. Dicht bij openbaar vervoer, winkels, en reetautants. Echter ook zeer lawaaierig. De ruimte van de kamer was leuk aangekleed (executive room). Onderhoud, hygiëne en ontbijt was ondermaats. Ook was de kamer op 1e verdieling heel warm. De airco werkte niet en kond zeer weinig raam open.

Staff were helpful. Area was very convenient. Local to man food places, shopping centre, and bus station within walking distance. 24hr reception makes it safer. Only issue was that though they claimed free wifi in alll rooms, the wifi service was not available in my room unless i stood directly in front of my door. I couldnt use the wifi & relied on my mobile data. Made planning things and keeping in touch with people difficult.

It’s only a 10-minute walk from the train station, which is great. But in all of my travels in 50 countries, this was the worst night’s sleep I’ve ever gotten. The noise all night long from the windows was horrendous. It sounded like the windows were wide open when they weren’t. The bed was also stiff and uncomfortable. The corridors are rundown/dirty, although the room was clean enough. If you’re wanting proximity to the train station, I would look elsewhere first if you are actually wanting to sleep. They have luggage storage for five pounds per room.

In a great area, very central and very easily accessible - hotel staff were all lovely and helpful. Hotel rooms could do with some TLC - our bed/bathroom was clean but carpets in the room were stained/dirty. Also some mould on windowsill (understand that this is an old building but could do with some care) Overall a good place to stay for a central base!

I'm giving 5 stars considering all the aspects: objectively, the structure and room condition wouldn't be a 5 because it's pretty old, the vent in the bathroom wasn't working, some stains on the wall and on the moquette, zero soundproofing. BUT, it was very clean, staff was polite and the price paid considering the very VERY central location makes of this hotel a very solid choice.

Good value and convenient
Friendly staff, super convenient for a late arrival and train station at Picadilly. Very good room with excellent bed and a good shower. The toilet didn’t flush well and we advised desk of this on check out. The hotel looks rather tired and could do with a makeover but that's true of many. Breakfast was okay. The price reflects the rather worn feel of the place, carpets particularly. Overall, it was very good. Third time I've stayed there so I qualify as a happy customer.

Bed was horrendous any slight movement and the bed was creeking, was worried it was going to break as it didn’t look in good condition. The mattress also wasn’t comfortable woke up with back ache and tired. Staff were nice and breakfast was good, but hotel rooms need major improvements especially beds, and more plugs especially next to the beds.

Very uncomfortable bed and pillows.The fire alarm woke me up at half 2 in the morning. Staff were the only thing I liked about my stay.

Mer centralt än så här kan man inte bo. Piccadilly Gardens är nollpunkten i Manchester. Allt finns inom 15 min promenad. Hotellet anonymt, man måste veta vad man letar efter. En ingång intryckt mellan två butiker. Hyfsat Wi-Fi , bra tv utbud, bra säng och badkar. Man kan inte kräva mer för budgetpris
