Fantastic place to stay in Mallorca
Hotel Ceiba Maria was a fantastic place to stay in Cala d'Or. The staff was wonderful - always helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and quiet, with very effective air conditioning (which was essential for the week we were there!). The highlights for us were the daily breakfast and the hotel's location. The breakfast was delicious and fresh every day, and they did a great job accommodating both myself and my wife's dietary restrictions (gluten-free and vegetarian). I'm not sure the location could have been better, as within just a few minutes, you can walk to one of the beaches, or to the downtown area, or to the marina area. Ocean, restaurants, and shops are all within easy walking distance, and you're in a nice quiet spot inbetween all of them.

It was really lovely. A friendly, cosy hotel, comfy room and very pleasant, helpful staff! The location of the hotel was exactly where we wanted it to be too.

Great place to stay. Highly recommended.
Friendly welcome from helpful Steffi. Well sited, close to beach, port and restaurants but still peaceful. Clean room and bathroom with comfortable bed. Nice touches like bottle of water and glasses (not in many other hotels in Mallorca). Help yourself to tea/coffee. Excellent breakfast. The best value of any of the eight hotels we stayed in.

Tolles kleines Hotel
Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Schönes kleines Hotel, mit tollem Flair. Service war überragend, alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Mir ist immer die Sauberkeit sehr wichtig, dies war es im gesamten. Toll ist auch das Frühstück das reichhaltig und serviert wird. Lage ist perfekt, Strand, Hafen (Restaurants) sowie vers. Geschäfte sind zu Fuß gut/ schnell erreichbar. Parkplätze gab es ebenfalls genügend... allerdings waren wir in der Außensaison dort. Nur das Bett war sehr weich und etwas unbequem, hätten wir aber vorab was gesagt (was wir leider nicht getan haben), hätte man sich schnell um das Problem gekümmert und sogar um ein Tausch der Matratze gesorgt - haben wir leider erst zum Schluss hin erfahren. Sehr empfehlenswert, wir werden sicher wieder kommen.

Comfortable little hotel, great pool & breakfast.
We stayed here for 4 nights during a very humid heatwave, the air conditioning was very much appreciated, as was the complementary tea and coffee in the lounge, and honesty bar. Breakfast was lovely and not too early, from 8.30-11.00am. The swimming pool was nice and clean, and a comfortable temperature, with plenty of sunbeds. Really good quiet location, lovely little beach Cala Petita only 2 minutes away, and all the bars restaurants & Marina close by. Our room had a very comfortable kingsize bed, plenty of hot water for showers, & a TV with BBC world service. Overall the room was a little tired and needs some cosmetic work, but nothing that bothered us. Great value, and run by a pleasant family who are helpful and considerate.

C'était absolument parfait, très bel endroit autant a l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur Notre chambre avec salle de bain était spacieuse et très belle et bien décorée L'extérieur est très jolie, terrasse très agréable pour le petit déjeuner et magnifique psicine avec transats Une belle petite plage est à 4 minutes à pieds Les propriétaires et le personnel sont tous absolument adorables Je retourne la bas de suite Tellement plus agréable que les gros établissements type resort Merci encore ❤️

Best place ever
Our first holiday in four years and wow this was just perfect. 7min stroll to cala dor centre 4 min stroll to cala dor beach but also just quiet enough to make it really peaceful. An absolute gem of a place. I almost don’t want to say too much cause I’d rather keep it to myself but I couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Sindy and Andre do everything they can to make your stay wonderful and it is spotlessly clean. Rooms cleaned every day except Sunday and breakfast was outstanding every day with juice, breads, cereal, croissant, fruit, tapas of cheese and meats and eggs cooked to your choice with bacon and tea or coffee. Also free tea and coffee self service are. And a fridge stocked with beverages and wine, self service and you just write down what you’ve had. Amazing poolside loungers and shaded seating area. Quiet, peaceful, absolute bliss. Didn’t want to leave and I will definitely be back next year. Just what we needed in one of our favourite places

We are sorry that you did not like the hotel and our service. It would be great if you could let us know what we need to improve. We would like to show our guests a bit of the mallorca style that's why we are not modern. A hostel has no air condition no private bathrooms, no towels for the bath rooms, no beach towels and sun umbrellas which we all provide. But thank you for your review!

Hôtel familial agréablement situé à Cala d'Or
Hôtel bien situé, permettant d'atteindre à pied 4 plages de Cala d'Or Quartier calme par rapport aux autres quartiers de la ville remplis de grands hôtels et de centres de vacances (c'est le seul hôtel de Majorque où j'ai pu dormir sans mettre de protections d'oreille!) Environnement agréable avec terrasse et piscine, propice à la détente en fin de journée Petit déjeuner continental excellent Chambres rénovées et décorées avec goût. Un bémol au niveau de l'équipement : mauvaise literie et un seul frigo partagé avec les autres clients, pas de four micro-onde Établissement tenu pas des Allemands avec une clientèle à forte majorité allemande

Excelente lugar para vacaciones tranquilas
Lugar muy tranquilo con buena ubicación (hay calas a 5, 10, 15 y 20 minutos andando respectivamente). También está cerca del puerto y de la zona de restaurantes (5 minutos a pie). Las personas que gestionan el hotel son extremadamente amables. El desayuno es bueno y puedes repetir. No sirven cenas ni comidas (se uede cenar fuera con precios medios de 25€ persona, o lo que te puedas permitir, hay de todo). La habitación y el baño son un poco antiguos pero bien conservados y limpios (tienen secador y aire acondicionado). Hay un minibar compartido donde se puede dejar bebidas enfriandose (la gesnte es respetuosa y no tuvimos ningun problema). La señal WIFI es mejorable y solo se puede pagar en efectivo pero en general todo excelente.

This small family run hotel is a little gem. Could not get a better location- 2 mins walk to beach, 5 mins to marina bars and restaurants and 4 mins to main square bars and restaurants. Love the breakfast each morning

The hotel, even though small in size was perfect for our 5 day stay. The pool area was great to relax around and was never too busy. The breakfast was superb each day and the rooms were spacious and well presented.

Excellent stay in Cala D'Or
André and Sindy run a wonderful little hotel in Cala D'Or - very close to the marina, the downtown, and the beach, but on a quiet road where there is no problem relaxing in the evening. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, breakfast is delicious, and the hosts are friendly, kind and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend this hotel - there's not a single bad word I could say about it! My stay was excellent.

PERFECT hotel, pool & location
Hotel Ceiba Maria Cala Dor was PERFECT! We were instantly greeted by Andre's warm welcome - he was friendly, helpful, genuine and very proud of his hotel. We were shown to our room, the Comfort Double, which has been recently refurbished. The room was a good size, with an extremely comfortable bed and a newly fitted high quality bathroom suite. The air conditioning unit also worked extremely well. We were also impressed by the pool which was clean, inviting and remained very quiet throughout our stay - we were always able to get sun loungers and often had the pool to ourselves. There were also a variety of inflatables and pool games that were free to use, and a shaded seating area. Breakfast was also excellent with a generous continental spread including eggs & bacon made to order. There isn't a bar in the hotel, but there is a fridge with reasonably priced drinks & a community fridge to store your own for free. You can also order a drink from the neighbouring hotel bar over the small fence! The location is also fantastic: a very short distance to a beautiful cove with white sand & turquoise water, and an equal distance to the marina & yacht club with an array of restaurants to suit all tastes. The town centre is also close by for a wider selection. It was in a peaceful area, far enough from the main tourist strip whilst still being easily accessible. Lots of free parking outside too if you rent a car. Overall we LOVED our stay & will be definitely booking again!

The location is quite and serene, but at the same time close to restaurants and shops. Parking can be tricky depending on the time of day though. The room was very clean and comfortable. The stand out is the breakfast and staff. Very nice and friendly, if you have any questions/ concerns let them know. They are really concerned for their guests well being. If you wanna visit this part of the island & like a bit of a personal touch I would definitely recommend this hotel over the big brand hotels in the area.

Don't miss out on this little gem
What a fantastic hotel and it the best location ever. This hotel is a small family run hotel in a location only a few minutes walk from the nearest beach, great marina and all the shops and restaurants. We loved it from the minute we arrived. The hotel has a small but lovely pool, with sun beds, tables and a relaxing area with settee's shaded from the sun. The hotel rooms are large and comfortable with a great walk-in shower with plenty of hot water. The best experience though was the freshly served breakfast - served outside with a fresh meat and cheese plate and a fresh bakery basket of breads and pastries. Fresh tea or coffee, fruit juice, yoghurt/fruit and hot bacon and eggs if required. We really loved it and will be going back.

Underrated, a nice place close to cala dor beach
Two stars in the description where pretty inaccurate since this place is pretty adequate for great vacation at cala d or. Close to the marina and centre with nice clean rooms and breakfast included is a great outpost, reasonably priced too. I would be coming back no doubt.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und wurden durch das Team bestens betreut. Das hervorragende Service wurde durch überraschende Details (Schirme, etc.) komplettiert! Wenn es überhaupt etwas "negatives" gab, dann eventuell die Hellhörigkeit des Gebäudes, aber das liegt an der Bauweise. Aber das Hotel liegt in sehr ruhiger Lage - kein Verkehr, kein Lärm!

We stayed here for 4 nights in June 2018 and had a wonderful time. The hotel is small by comparison with some of the resorts and as a result the service is personalised, the managers Sindy & Andre were great hosts and really made an effort to provide us with a good experience. The breakfast was great, served to suit taste rather than a buffet and a lovely home cooked traditional Mallorcan banquet was provided on the Friday night. A nice swimming pool is situated on site with an adjacent fully stocked and reasonably priced locally run bar. Great for relaxing over an afternoon. Pool times were generous, the pool was available until 10 at night. The hotel is situated only a few minuted walk from some lovely restaurants and also from the centre of Cala D'or itself. There are several secluded beaches within walking distance of the hotel. The Ceiba Maria is one of the best hotels we've stayed in in recent times & we will certainly be returning. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay
Stayed here for a week in Sept. This hotel is close to the square, beach and the marina so you can get to any within 5-10 mins walk, but is in a quiet area of the town away from the busy and noisy areas. The hotel is kept very clean throughout and has pleasant and helpful owners and staff. Really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Would definitely return here.
