"What can I say the room had a great view the instructions were easy to follow the reason there’s a $100 deposit for parking is because people kept leaving with the parking placards so they upped the deposit. You do get it back when you leave. I would definitely stay here again"

"The property was great! Very clean and neat. The house came with all you can need and more. The owners left beach chairs and boogie boards for us to use. They had a great outside patio area for relaxing in the afternoons. Lots of room in the house for everyone to spread out. Very quiet neighborhood and walking around you get to see so many peacocks! "The HP is right on the beach - you can't beat it! The condo has a wonderful view. The lanai is perfect for meals and watching the sun set. The kitchen is small (one cook max) but is well stocked with appliances, utensils, cookware, etc. There are many items we appreciated that were in the condo such as a beach tote and cooler. The building amenities are nice, including the pool, parking availability, and security. There is good and fast communication with the owner. There are a couple drawbacks....

"We loved the stay. It was like visiting an older relative’s house. Outdated but everything in working order. Place was clean, had plates, kitchen supplies, beach chairs stuff for swimming. "My wife and I wanted to go somewhere special for our anniversary. The fact that my daughter lives in Makaha Valley made the decision a slam dunk. We found a room at the Hawaiian Princess and couldn’t have been happier. Extraordinary beach and location made this the perfect spot to stay. "Overall, very good place. Host was very kind. It would be more comfortable if we could have info about why we can not advised how to get in home and its exact locations etc. Eventually, we noticed It is probably for safety reason that is understandable. Just wished to knows it as we travel from abroad and concerned about accidents and wondering why information was limited until the last minutes. All those said, I recommend any one to stay here!! "When we arrived at the security gate we were informed that we didn't meet the condo owners association's occupancy rules. Reason: my wife's name had not been submitted by owner. We weren't allowed on premises until the condo manager was contacted and a temporary approval was given. We had to report to condo office the following morning to fill out extra paperwork, prepay for parking and additional parking security deposit (these fees had to be made in cash not debit or credit card). surprised...

"We loved our stay at Ken's property in Makaha. The unit was lovely, updated and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. All the kitchen appliances and utensils were great. We loved all the beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, towels, boogie boards, etc). The view from the lanai was gorgeous. We loved seeing all the peacocks roaming the property. The gate and office staff were very friendly and welcoming. Ken made the check in/out process a breeze. We would most definitely stay here again!...
