Dårlig service
Dårlig service og ikke tilfreds med deres regler om at man ikke må besøge hinanden og at dreng/pige kun må opholde sig i fællesarealet. Mærkeligt bookingsystem og da vi havde kommet til at booke os som 2 mænd var vi tvunget til at sove hver for sig sammen med andre. 2 min. efter betaling kunne vi ikke få vores 1400kr. retur.

rigtigt godt ophold
Det var en helt igennem god oplevelse. Jeg kom også på et fint værelse med 4 andre kvinder. Det eneste der "hæmmede" min daglige rutine var at de andre gik tidlig i seng og sov længe, så jeg gik rundt på værelset og lyste med min mobil da jeg skulle pakke min taske, skulle finde nattøj og børste tænder osv. Oplysninger til dig der overvejer at overnatte her: I kælderen der er: Rum til baggage hvis du mangler inden du skal mod lufthavnen. Det koster vist 3 pund pr. skab, men mange lod kufferten stod i rummet, hvilket ikke koster noget. Jeg var en af dem, og oplevede ingen problemer. 2 rum i kælderen: 4 vaskemaskiner, et strygebræt/strygejern, 2 hårtørre der faktisk er ret gode, 2 glattejern der ikke ligefrem er ghd, men de fungere hvis man lige skal glatte håret let. 3 rum: et køkken som gæsterne selv kan bruge hvis de har brug for det. Sengene er rigtigt fine. Rengøringen er godt. Morgenmaden var fin - typisk hotel morgenmad til ca 5 pund. I receptionen/fællesområdet er der også en bar hvor man kan bestille en masse forskelligt. Sofaer eller bænke hvor der også er mulighed for at oplade sin mobil. Og så står der altid vand, æble og appelsin juice som man bare kan tage af. Hvis man ikke ønsker 5 stjernet hotel men blot skal have et sted at sove mens man er på ferie, så vil jeg klart anbefale stedet :)

YHA London Central, forlænget weekend
Var på YHA i tre nætter. Generelt var det et rigtig fint sted, der var mulighed for at opbevare baggage, da vi ankom før check-ind og tog afsted efter check-ud. Det var virkelig tæt på shopping på bl.a. Oxford street (ca. 10 min) og her lå også undergrunden. Hostellet arrangerede også forskellige events som fx pub crawls og sightseeing, som var sjovt! Eneste minus var at vi havde bestilt 6-personers rum, kom på 8 - gjorde ikke nogen forskel i sidste ende. Og personalet var for det meste venligt, men oplevede et par gange, hvor nogle af pigerne ikke rigtig ville hjælpe med at vise vej på kort og "var trætte af dumme spørgsmål", men ellers var de andre rigtig søde til at hjælpe!

Super godt til prisen!!
En reception med super hjælpsomme medarbejdere og hvor det er muligt at sidde og slappe af i en af sofaerne mens man er på det gratis wifi. Værelset vi fik var rent, med eget badeværelse og en flot udsigt til tv-tårnet. Super godt hostel til prisen med en perfekt placering tæt på både Oxford circus og Regents park. Jeg kan klart anbefale det!

Fint og hyggeligt hostel tæt på centrum
Fint og hyggeligt hostel tæt på centrum, med god og billig morgenmad samt venligt personale. Sengene var gode og vi sov rigtig godt. Dog virkede nogle af stikkontakterne ikke, så det var ikke muligt at oplade sine telefoner i løbet af natten, men det blev i stedet for gjort om morgenen, så ikke det store problem. Hyggeligt og meget socialt hostel, og vi vil helt sikkert bo der igen.

I booked it because my flight home was leaving at midnight and I wanted a place to stay until then. As it is a hostel, I wasn't expecting the facilities, but my expectations were overturned, but in a good way. Cleanliness! Bright! Everything is NEW! And, very quiet (as long as the time I stayed there). I had stayed in another hotel for five days that was almost twice the price, and I wished I had stayed here in the first place. Excellent place.

Unfortunately it was a very noisy night so this gets off to a bad start. There is no air conditioning so on a hot summer night we needed to open the window. The noise from outside and then inside at 3am resulted in little sleep. Beds are not comfortable. The hotel is cheap compared to other hotels and I guess you get what you pay for.
