iskoldt værelse og masser af larm
dejligt at få en opgradering uden at skulle bede om det. Værelset var dog iskoldt og selvom de prøvede at få det ordnet var det ikke tilfredsstillende. En værre larm var der natten igennem når køleskabet tændte og slukkede og der var også lyde, der mindede om en mus der puslede rundt. Sørg for at der er håndsprit i restauranten når det er buffet.

Super beliggenhed. Rigtig god morgenmad og venligt personale. Seng og puder ikke helt op til standard prisen taget i betragtning, men andre gode ting som gratis refill af drikkevarer på værelset og flere slags kaffe/te/kakao. Meget rent, pænt og beholdt. Ingen støj overhovedet, stort plus i London 😀

Dejligt centralt hotel
Vi havde et dejligt ophold på Thistle Marble Arch. Hotellet ligger centralt, store værelser og super lækkker morgenmad. Værelserne har alt hvad man behøver - eneste lille minus - der er ingen toiletbørste på værelset.

Tæt på indkøbsmuligheder. Executiveværelset levede ikke op til det lovede. Morgenmaden på 2.sal var ikke særlig god. Personalet tog imod besked, men beskeden gik aldrig videre.

Man kan næsten ikke bo mere centralt i London. Flot hotel og venlige personale. Morgenmaden er bare iorden og de er hurtige til at henvise til et bord samt rydde af med brugte tallerkner mv. Flot værelse og lækkert med opfyldning af drikkevare og lidt snacks i køleskabet på værelset.

Book dette hotel hvis du vil bo godt og centralt.
At træde ind på Amba hotel Marble Arch giver i første omgang ikke en wauw oplevelse, da indgangsparti/foyeren ikke gør meget for denne oplevelse. Den skriger nærmest på “hjælp om en renovering og andre farver”. Men når der er sagt, er alt der efter en kæmpe oplevelse. Personalet er altid hjælpsomme, imødekommende og glade for at hjælpe dig, med spørgsmål og andre ting. Dette gælder både i receptionen, delien, baren eller restauranten. Værelset var også stort og rummeligt med dejlig komfort og ro. Hotellet ligger i begyndelsen af Oxford street, men trods dens beliggenhed stadig ro og pænt. Transportmulighederne er suveræne. Flere busser kører fra hotellet (Marble Arch station) til alle steder i London. Det samme glæder undergrunden som er få skridt der fra også. Morgenmaden var i øvrigt et af de store betænkeligheder vi havde med stedet,ø. Vi var spændte på om det var en klassisk engelsk morgenmadsbuffet, men nej! Det var engelsk morgenmad med er twist. Alt hvad hjertet begærer samt en kok der stod og lavede de lækreste og friske omeletter til dem der ønskede dette. Frisk frugt, yoghurt i flere smage, lækkert brød, ja alt hvad du kunne tænkte dig!! Alt i alt smadder godt hotel. Vi kommer klart igen og vil anbefalede Amba Hotel Marble Arch til alle dem, der fremadrettet skal til London.

Their 2 elevators were insufficient for the number of rooms in the hotel. Very limited food available. The bar manager Ari made us feel very comfortable and enjoyed his stories!

Overall the hotel was good, it just has 1 major problem… there’s a lack of elevators. It’s a big hotel with only 2, so it’s very difficult to get in and out of the property. I wouldn’t stay there again unless I was on the first floor, and definitely don’t stay there if you’re elderly and can’t take the stairs.

Everything was good but really the limited number of elevators for a property of this size is a real pain in the neck. Going out or into the hotel is a real expedition. You may need sometime more than 10 minutes to go from the 6th floor to the 1st floor (reception). Otherwise, room clean and personnel very helpful and polite.

Dit hotel beviel ons zeer goed. We waren met drie: vader, moeder en zoon van 12. Mooie ruime kamer voor ons 3. Heel netjes, genoeg schone handdoeken indien nodig. Shampoo, zeepjes, bodylotion voorradig. Altijd een paar drankjes (water (dieet-)cola) in de koelkast. Deze was trouwens ook superhandig voor eigen drankjes. Een top ontbijt, plaatsing van gasten supergoed en gestructureerd geregeld. Eten en drinken genoeg en lekker. Personeel heel aardig! Enige minpunt: Jammer dat men (volwassen/arrogante) gasten die heel hard zitten te telefoneren tijdens het ontbijt of (race-)filmpjes zitten te kijken tot zichtbaar ongenoegen van de overige gasten daar niet op durft aan te spreken. Verder top! 👍 Er wordt veel gezegd over de liften; het klopt dat het voor dit grote hotel wat weinig liften zijn, maar ja "geduld is een schone zaak" zeker als je er voor je vakantie bent en als je je gewoon netjes aanpast aan de nette mentaliteit van de Engelsen, komt ieder op zijn beurt boven en/of beneden. De ligging van het hotel is ook top: midden in het centrum en toch hoor je niks van het lawaai van de stad. De metro van Marble Arch om de hoek, wat wil je nog meer. Echt geweldig. Wij komen zeker nog eens hier terug.

The staff were fantastic. We needed an early check in as we were off to the Kings Garden party and despite getting there at 11am, Pav who was working on the front desk managed to get us a room so we could get dressed amd ready to go as early as we could. They truly went above and beyond!

Good size room comfortable beds. Great AC. Free complimemtary bar in room always restocked. Walking distance to tube shopping seeing the sites. Polite helpful staff. Only downside needs more lifts, but this was in progress during our visit. Highly recommend a stay here:)

2 of the 4 elevators were down for upgrade. Had I known that I would have booked a different hotel. The stairs were very out of the way. If you plan to stay there, you might want to check if ALL the elevators are operational as this is a popular hotel and very busy. All dining in the hotel is card only. The hotel is within easy walking distance to Oxford Street as well as Hyde Park.

Super close access to the Marble Arch Tube Stop for the Central Line. Our room was big with space to spread out and also do some work while traveling.

Great location with Oxford Street around the corner and Tube stations nearby. Good value for money, e.g. breakfast included and it was a good breakfast buffet.

Great location being just a two minute walk from Marble Arch station and Hyde Park. Hotel is well run and very modern. Just one minor gripe - not enough lifts which can mean long waits. There are stairs, but they are difficult to find often being hidden behind unlabelled brown doors. Would definitely stay there again if I ever needed to.

It is well located but too many people in and out creating a jam in the elevators. Only two for guess use and had to wait too long to reach your room.

property and rooms are ok but hotel is huge and there are only 2 small lifts which is ridiculous. takes at least 10 min each time to wait for lift. great location though

Very good check in at an extremely busy time. We were a 3 but only a double bed in the room. Reception soon sorted this out. The room was very clean and free water in the mini bar which was a nice touch. There was only 2 lifts due to maintenance work, we used the stairs the majority of the time but it was a problem for the more infirm people. Breakfast was very good with an excellent choice of food. We would definitely return.

We were so well taken care of and even got an anniversary cake in our upgraded room! Frustrated by the overcrowded lifts, but eventually found the staircase!

Los elevadores insuficientes y para las personas de edad o con alguna situación de salud era muy compleja. Solo 2 elevadores funcionando para 8 pisos de cuartos.
