It’s a good hotel.
I don’t understand the negative comments, honestly. Many of the things people are complaiming about, I don’t even care about. I personally do not spend much time in the hotel room, so I do not need the room to be very high tech. What matters to me is that the room is clean, has a comfy bed and is spacious room, so I don’t feel like I’m in a small box and there’s room for my things. If I was visiting a resort I would expect and want something different. But this is London - you’re not supposed to be sitting in your hotel room. Location: is distance a worry for you? Don’t worry! it doesn’t look like it on the map, but the hotel is literally a few steps from Trafalger square and close to Soho, Covent garden, the Palace etc. Everything is within walking distance. We walked everywhere. Hotel: the hotel is big. It’s also dated though. The inside looks a bit used. But again, we did not spend much any time in the hotel (only a bit time in our room), since we were out in London all day and evening, so the state of the hotel reception and restaurant was really no concern to us. Room: The rooms is spacious from a London perspective and the bath has a good shower. There’s room for a queen size bed, closet, iron, ironboard, desk and a good size television. Our room was facing away from the mainstreet and there was no noise - we even slept with the windows open every night (mind you we were there from saturday to monday).

God beliggenhed men dårlig service
Hotellet ligger meget centralt og gode værelser, men servicen er urimelig dårlig. Der er ingen rengøring af værelser under ophold, og vi måtte kæmpe for at få bragt nye håndklæder. Sengen er alt for blød. Men morgenmaden er fin.

Behageligt hotel med top beliggenhed
The grand at Trafalgar er et godt og behageligt hotel med top beliggenhed æt ved flere metrolinjer og i gå afstand til mange seværdigheder og besøgsværdige steder i London. Hotellet er pænt og rummeligt, værelserne rimelige store (for London) og servicen er god. Klassisk 4-stjerner.

Arrival was disappointing, no staff to greet us or take our luggage in. Semi automated check in is very impersonal. Room is small, shower had cracked tiles, very little in the way of amenities, and the whole hotel is in need of a major update. Staff was very good, Called the hotel to arrange a pick up from the airport and was to told to take a cab. They did line up a car to take us back to the airport. I'd pass on this hotel until it gets renovated.

The Grand at Trafalgar Square is close and within walking distance to many important places in central London. It is close to Charing Cross and Embankment underground stations. It also has a grocery shop nearby. There is also a nice breakfast place there.

Il personale all'accoglienza gentile, sarebbe utile che parlino altre lingue oltre l'inglese. La camera piccola e affaccio orribile su un cavedio di servizio, letto piccolo ma comodo, aria condizionata molto rumorosa, bagno comodo ma non funzionava l'estrattore d'aria per cui oltre la doccia facevi anche la sauna .... Nota di merito mi hanno concesso di occupare la stanza oltre l'orario di checkout , fino alle 14.00,grazie. La cauzione di 100 £ mi è stata accreditata in poche ore.

This was our first time in London and booked from reviews. Our stay was better than I could have imagined. All the sights are right there. The hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our room was so comfortable. I would certainly stay again.

This was our 4th stay at the Grand. We have found that the location is very central and allowed us to walk to the many restaurants, shopping, sight seeing, theatres etc. that we utilized!

Location is very good, near to all attractions, within walking distance. Underground station is just couple minutes' walk from the hotel. Staffs are friendly, helpful and courteous.

Excellent staff, the hotel very well located, many restaurant options even within the hotel. The only thing that did not satisfy me was that every day I had to ask for room cleaning service before 10 in the morning if not, they would not do it for you, I think it should be done as a rule.
