"We were very pleasantly surprised on arriving at the Boutique Hotel. We were warmly greeted with a glass of Prosecco. Our suite was so much better than we had expected. In addition to the bedroom there was a room with a table for meals, a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and a Sauna. Our suite did not have a 'hot tub', which the other suites had, but that did not concern us.The Breakfast menu was excellent and food was cooked to order. "What a great hotel. The staff were really friendly and the public areas and the rooms decorated to a very high standard. My wife used the spa and had a massage which she really enjoyed. Personally I think the outside of the hotel could do with an update but that in no way detracts from what is delivered inside. "

"Excellent stay at the hotel for our wedding anniversary. The spa facilities and the room with hot tub were excellent. The food and cocktails also great. Staff friendly although we didnt get our welcome drink. Overall a beautiful hotel, with excellent facilities. "

"Rigtig dejligt ophold på Daffodil. Store værelser. Grasmere er en helt fantastisk by med hyggelige restauranter og bl.a. pubquiz på den lokale pub om torsdagen. Det er optimalt, hvis man er til vandreruter. Vi var oppe på Helms Crag, og det var en spændende tur derop og en fantastisk udsigt. Selve hotellet er rigtig lækkert, men spaen kunne trænge til en opdatering. Vi fik massage, men det kan ikke anbefales, da det var alt for overfladisk. Men alt i alt et dejligt ophold og et godt hotel, som...

"Free parking and views of lake from the dining room were very good. Half board - the dinner was good but overpriced so the 10% service charge worked out extortionate. NOT GOOD We were put in a small loft room with a difficult door to open and a tight stair access- the room and whole property needs a lick of paint and could be cleaner. Location too far from bowness - walking into town is 20minutes but on both roads which had no pavement so very dangerous. Wouldn’t stay here again ."

"Beautiful hotel in Lake District. The rooms were spacious and spotless having all the facilities you nerd for a comfortable stay. The bed was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with a broad selection of food. The evening meal was superb. Beautifully prepared food with good choice. We spent time in the spa we which was excellent and loved outdoor pool. Loved our stay. "
