"We always love staying in Bear Lake because it's not that far from Seward and we were able to bring our two dogs. The cabin was actually better than the pictures portrayed, and the owner really did think of everything. I was surprised that it was stocked with so much stuff because sometimes you get to your rental place and it's the bare minimum. "This house was built in 1920, which allows us to experience earlier settler life. The host is really nice and accommodating, he even heated the house prior to our arrival. There were some modern convenience that were added since 1920, such as microwave, shower, and electric stove/oven. "Brandon was an amazing host!!! The cabin was detailed with a "cabin vibe". Right beside a beautiful stream & a fire pit by each cabin. Community toilets and bath house were SO clean and close to each cabin it was no issue to have a "dry" cabin. The fishing town of Seward has great eats with fresh caught fish offerings daily.
