"Family of 7 getting together for a long weekend celebrating a college graduation. House is perfect for a group or a family. We loved the layout. The master sheets were the most comfortable sheets I have slept on in perhaps my whole life!! Pool was a lot of fun. Lots of seating areas so we were able to spread out whenever we wanted. We had a couple hiccups the very first day but Erica our host was Johnny on the spot and had such fantastic communication and handled our issues without hesitation!...

"My husband and I just spent 3 separate weeks at this VRBO while I was undergoing cancer treatments in the Medical Center from out of town. "Excellent hotel. Hotel is clean. Excellent service at front desk. Pool is very clean. We were looking for a pet friendly hotel. The 125$ non-refundable pet fee was a shocker. I wish the "non-refundable" part is was called our clearly as it is in other hotel bookings. Otherwise highly recommended."

Hmmm - not living up to the positive ratings
"Sonesta ES Suites is located next to Galleria. Good location with bars and dining and take-out possibilities close by. Parking at the premises is for free, which is greated compared to neayby options costing 15-25 USD per day. I have stayed at The Royal Sonesta several times before (fully booked this time) so I chose Sonesta ES with the expectations of similar standard and service. But.... Generally it is dated, only one elevator, very noisy aircon, 2 days with no hot water, I have to ask for extra cleaning the first day since my room was NOt clean at all. Try to get a room on the back side of the place - since Hidalgo street can be noisy. The pool area looked great on tyhe pictures - in reality very small. "
