Brug jeres penge et andet sted
Vi læste andre anmeldelser og tænkte, vi havde fundet et godt tilbud. Det eneste, der talte op var beliggenheden i forhold til havnen og busstationen. Værelset lignede ikke billederne, var ok men kedeligt. Balkonen ikke rigtig brugbar; smal, kun med en stol og i en mørk baghave/gyde. Morgenmaden var tæt på uspiselig; kolde hårdkogte æg, frugtsalat fra dåse, kaffe fra automat osv. En aften valgt vi at spise i restauranten, som kun var en snackbar og stedet for morgenmad. Vores måltid var værre end morgenmaden. Fra frost og derefter varmet i mikroovn eller friture. Dog var mine to frostburgerbøffer grillet og serveret kun med kartoffelbåde intet andet.

Perfekt beliggenhed & mageløs udsigt
Værelset var generelt fint, virkelig godt lydisoleret, med en pæn stor altan med udsigt til havnen. Hotellet ligger ca. 500 m fra den smukke havn, 500 m fra hovedbusstationen & 500 m fra Elefterias Square, hvor bussen fra/til lufthavnen standser. Personalet var flinke. Morgenmaden var virkelig god, og udsigten fra restauranten er absolut fantastisk - man ser ud til havnen og Dia-øen. Eneste minus var AC'en på værelset, som øjensynligt var indstillet til ikke at kunne gå under ca. 24-25 grader - i hvert fald var det for varmt på værelset. Kan anbefales.

Central beliggenhed
Centralt beliggende hotel med fantastisk udsigt over den venetianske havn i Irekleon og kort afstand til båden til Kreta. Morgenmaden knap så spændende.

In a great location, very handy for the archaeological museum & close to the port & the bus station. Excellent Cretan restaurant (Plani) 3 minutes walk. The room was a bit small, but the bed was enormous. There was very little storage in the room.

Few disappointed in our stay at Marin hotel. There was no parking on-site. You must park at nearest city parking location and walk to hotel. This wouldn’t be bad except there isn’t a place to drop luggage before parking. Once in the unit AC was not working (they promptly corrected). The shower had mold/mildew on walls. We advised the staff and they sent someone to clean the next morning. Next shower it was back. Gave up on having this corrected. Staff was very nice in saying they would send someone to re-clean, unfortunately I think the exhaust fan was not operational in the bathroom. After booking this room in February, I read this same issue happened in other rooms.

We stayed one night at this property. The toilet did not flush.We had to lift the tank to flush. I did not receive anything extra for being a VIP.

For calling this a boutique hotel, the bathroom was very dated and in need of severe remodeling. I didn't even use it. There was mold in the shower/tub. Too expensive.
