The property was very good however it did not have a washing machine as listed. Nor was it soundproof as listed. There was a laundromat close by. The location was around a 20 min walk to the centre of Naoussa where the main bus stop was, made it a little difficult getting around by public transport. Overall they served a good breakfast and staff were friendly and helpful.

Very well located, but near the road, with old windows with no soundproof. At the bed we ear all cars passing. Otherwise it have good renovated and clean beds.

Property perfect for a night stop over but I would not stay there more. The view is beautiful and the room is basic but the hotel property needs a good upgrade. Also when you arrive at the parking area there are no directions to the reception desk, very odd.

The hotel is very close to Naoussa if you don’t have a car. If you do have a car, everything else is less than 20 mins away so you get to experience a lot on a short stay on the island. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The views from the room and the breakfast area are spectacular. Right underneath, there’s a small unorganized beach with clear water and such cozy vibes. Would definitely return here one day!

Overall ok but view not as promised
Hotel with breath taking view. Sadly our view (we had booked sea view) was only partial. We mainly saw the breakfast area of the hotel (an ugly grey part of the building). You still need a car to go to Naoussa (2km) in the heat. The deco (colour, furniture, fittings...) is very old school (70s). Personnel was nice!

Beautiful location
The rooms had an amazing view of the water. Private balcony as well. It is near a lot of great local cuisine with great views. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel that could take you to the port and the bus station was nearby as well. Breakfast was included and was a nice spread that overlooked the water as well. A main road was between the property and the water which was noisy, but overall was very relaxing and enjoyed the time spent.

Old hotel
The hotel is very old. The beds are very uncomfortable. People working in the hotel are nice and helpful. The breakfast was nice. It’s 10-15 minutes walking to the center. There’s a bus stop in front of the hotel

Great family hotel
We loved our stay at the Hotel Hippocampus. The location was ideal. We had balconies with a gorgeous view and the rooftop bar and restaurant was perfect for sunset and breakfast. The hotel is older so not luxurious but it was clean and well kept. The bathroom had a great shower and all the amenities. The best part was the helpful and welcoming staff. From dining and travel help to the wonderful daily breakfast, we enjoyed every encounter with the people who worked there. A special shout out to our bartender, George, who made us feel special every day.

Flott utsikt
Stort rom med flott utsikt. Eneste minus ved hotellet var avstanden til byen. 15-20 min til fots langs en tidvis trafikkert vei var en blandet fornøyelse, men bussen er et godt alternativ, den stopper rett nedenfor hotellet og går stort sett hver time fram til kl 23.

Hôtel très bien situé et agréable.
Hôtel bien situé, à l'arrivée à Paros, Bus de Naoussa et demander au chauffeur l'hôtel Hippocampus, le bus s 'arrêtera au pied de l'hôtel. A la réception, la patronne parle un peu français et vous indique ce qu'il y a à faire, les bus... A pied à 15 mn du centre de Naoussa. Les chambres sont grandes, la literie confortable et large, vus mer sur toute. Salle de bain un peu petite. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. Belle terrasse qui domine la mer, si il n'y a pas trop de vent. Globalement bien.

Excellent accueil familial dans cet hôtel des années 70. La vue de la salle du petit déjeuner est magnifique. Le mobilier est un peu vieux mais OK, seuls les lits ne sont pas top.

Veduta spettacolare
L'albergo è arredato in modo semplice,ma la veduta è mozzafiato. Vicino a naoussa con un ampio parcheggio. Ottima la colazione sia dolce che salata. La gentilezza caratterizza la reception.

A perfect Greek holiday
This hotel is very good value for your money. It has a small beach and swimming spot right across the street and the view at breakfast is unbeatable. It has basic rooms, but it is clean and the aircon. works. The bus stop is right infront of the hotel, but the centre of Naoussa is just around the corner. Take a 3 minute walk to Piperi beach , take your shoes off ans stroll along the beach and harbour to all the restaurants on the harbour wall. This is a perfect Greek holiday. As a bonus, the staff is Very freindly and heplfull.

Very friendly staff who are multi-lingual and a clean and tidy room, with all the basics. For the price, I didn't realise that daily room servicing was included - it's great value. The location is excellent, with beautiful views over the bay and a 15 minute stroll to Naoussa village. We loved the breakfast selections and the traditional music being played. Be aware that the mattresses are very hard, I found it difficult to get comfortable. But the benefits of this venue far outweigh.

Pulizia della camera ottima, con cambio giornaliero della biancheria, bellissimo panorama sul mare, colazione non proprio continentale ma sufficiente(d'altronde per quello che si paga). Bella struttura a terrazze, alle porte del paese (10/15 minuti a piedi). Unico neo, no set di cortesia nel bagno, abbiamo comprato lo shampo.

Once again, a great stay.
This hotel never disappoints. It is like a slice of 1970's Greece in its best, in its design and in its amenities. The family that runs the hotel are so nice, very attentive, and very hospitable. The hotel is basic, do no expect luxury. But the air condition works, the fridge works, the TV works, and all the other positives make for a wonderful stay.

Sul mare a 10 min a piedi dal centro città.
Albergo sul mare a 10 min dal centro di noussa. Personale molto affabile e sempre disponibile. Colazione discreta su una terrazza con visto sulla baia. Camera molto spaziosa (noi avevamo una quadripla e stavamo larghissimi). Bagno con doccia piccola e senza bidet, ma alla fine confortevole. Visto il prezzo una trentina di euro a notte a persona con colazione ( solo quella veniva 6 euro) diciamo che il giudizio è nettamente positivo.

Great basic hotel
This hotel is a fantastic time warp back to 1970s Greece. The design is amazing, and everything is just like it was in '72. The staff is amazingly friendly and accommodating, the breakfast is basic but complete and fresh, the beds are comfortable, the location is excellent (just outside of Naoussa, and with a bus stop directly in front of the hotel.) Excellent value.
