"Good stay but would have loved to know about the ongoing renovation in advance. Also could have been very nice with a coffee machine in the room as we see on most other hotels. Very comfy bed!"

"Disappointing start after 18 hours journey - no room was reserved reserved for me! But after a rather long wait I was checked in at a suite much better than the room I reserved. I kept the suite for all six nights. There was no cleaning. I guess that I could have ordered cleaning, but I don't know because the information and communication from the place and the staff was very limited. Location is great!"

"Loved staying at the Talbot with one exception. Room was nice but the view, not so much. Literally looked out on the roof of the first floor and air conditioning units from room 206. Would’ve been nice to get some sort of a view rather than tar, rocks, and a/c units. In the end though I just needed a good night’s sleep in a nice room and that’s what I got! "I just stayed at this hotel with my wife and kid in the lakeview area in Chicago. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with serveral things about our stay. 1. Lack of cleanliness in the room, we found pills, plastic waste from candy bar, old used contact lenses. As we had a toddler running around and investigating every inch of the room, this could have resulted in fatal consequences! 2. It was very noisy! we had some kind of generator outside our windows, which was running all night...

"The staff was all really friendly. The neighborhood was clean and within walking distance to public transportation, bars, and restaurants. All of the businesses we visited were really friendly and helpful. "

"Room was nice and clean and staff was friendly. We were however left with the feeling that the hotel was not what it had promised to be. With no breakfast options, no access to the rooftop and no open bar to get an evening drink. Also having to ask to get your room cleaned signals a hotel with too few resources. In my opinion not a hotel worthy of 4 stars and totally overpriced."

"God beliggenhed … tæt på alt. Sødt personale, lækkert værelse … det spillede😉 Eneste der manglede…. At der var åbent i baren i lobby og Rooftop baren ikke lukkede 2030. Aircon var megt kold i lobby…. Men en lille bagatel😆 Nød vores ophold meget og kommer gerne igen👍"
