Historisk smuk hotel
Tak for en uforglemmelig 8 dages ophold med god mad, afslapning og solbadning. Tak for opmærksomheden ved min fødselsdag og den dejlige champagne med kage. Vi har nydt stilheden ved poolen, de smukke omgivelser ved parken og de flotte palmer. Vi lejede en bil direkte fra hotellets computer og alt forløb hurtigt og enkelt. Ved indtjekning får man serveret cava og budt høfligt velkommen. Meget serviceminded personale og skal i den sammenhæng nævne vores italienske poolmand som er så venlig og opmærksom og altid gør sit absolut bedste for gæsterne. Ved pool området savnede vi gratis vand eller forfriskninger, som man ofte får på andre hoteller af samme prisniveau. Rengøringen på værelset var ikke imponerende, der var støv alle dage på glashylden og kunne se ting på gulvet ikke blev fjernet. Bestik var beskidt og vi måtte selv vaske nogle skeer som ikke var rengjorte gok nok. Men generelt set var vi meget glade for opholdet og kommer gerne igen.

Santa Catalina Hotel could be amazing. Service errors means it isn’t. Rude staff in the rooftop lounge, ice cold swimmingpool for kids, bad smell in one of our rooms and mixed service at breakfast drags the experience to a level where a 5-star hotel should not be.

Det er et fantastisk hotel. Der var imidlertid fejl på regningen ved afrejse, idet vi blev faktureret dobbelt for morgenmad begge dage.I stedet for at beklage fejlen, blev man mødt med mistro. Det var ikke en god oplevelse.

Virkeligt skønt hotel. Især vip swimmingpool på taget. Desværre var servicen ikke god nok til et 5 stjernet hotel. Personalet forstod ikke engelsk, betjeningen utrolig langsom både ved morgenmaden og i lobby baren. Aftenen før vi skulle hjem, aftalte vi med receptionen at de skulle bestille en taxa til os om natten til lufthavnen. Men der kom ingen taxa. Og der var ingen mennesker i receptionen eller uden ved døren. Så vi måtte gå ud (midt om natten ) med vores kufferter mv. , og finde en taxa. Generelt et rigtig smukt hotel med alle faciliteter, men personalet/ servicen er ringe.

Fantastisk hotel. Fantastisk service fra rengøring til mad til reception til service i poolområdet. Der var intet at sætte en finger på. Super faciliteter og dejlig beliggenhed lige ved en meget flot og velholdt park. Vi kommer meget gerne igen

Det var et fantastisk venligt personale. Fantastisk morgen buffet. Dog bærer hotellet præg af at være et kædehotel; følelsen af det personlige touch mangler. Det historiske hotel skal afspejle sig og ledes derefter. Og så er det MEGA usympatisk, at restauranterne ikke har et almindeligt spisekort i papir, men at man skal sidde med en IPad eller mobiltlf. for at se menuen 😤

Santa Catalina is such a nice hotel with great history! The stuff is very friendly and ready to help, breakfast was amazing and the location is also top! I was hoping for a nice stay - what I got was a luxurious stay. I was half board and would recommend that - also - try out la poemas. Bellissimo hotel di gran fascino in una struttura storica di LAS Palmas. Si ha la sensazione di soggiornare nel vero cuore della vita della città Non solo gli ospiti dell' hotel, ma tantissimi visitatori esterni vengono qui per fruire di tutte le esclusive attività: eleganti e rilassanti bar e ristoranti, piscina , spa. Una location unica all' interno di un enorme, bellissimo parco.Il tutto reso speciale da un servizio professionale e cordiale. Personalmente sono stata davvero piacevolmente sorpresa da un' attenzione speciale in occasione del mio compleanno: tortina e spumante in camera, nonché cambio di camera dopo una notte un po' rumorosa a causa di clienti fastidiosi e maleducati. Ed in più il gentile e gradito omaggio nella nuova camera di spumante e dolcini e di una messaggio di scuse della responsabile delle relazioni dell' hotel, la squisita sig.ra Soraya, che inoltre ci omaggiava di un ingresso gratuito al giorno alla Spa e dell' accesso all' ultimo piano ( la piscina del rooftop riservata ai clienti Vip ). In questo hotel c' è davvero un' attenzione speciale al cliente . E per finire un ringraziamento speciale ai cari e disponibilissimi Paula ed Edoardo che ci hanno sempre saputo ascoltare ed aiutare.

This is a high end property so was expecting high end service, the room wasn’t ready even though we were allowed to go in, not tea/coffee facilities or mini bar been updated. Other things only little things but forgot the lemon in our gin and tonic, the room service app that they expected you to use wasn’t working so phoned through the order but due to language differences one of the orders was wrong. Asked for some blankets which should have been in our room but weren’t , asked at reception but had to phone 3 hours later as they hadn’t arrived

Fabulous hotel
Fabulous hotel within the grounds of the very picturesque Dormas Park. Would have given it a full 5* rating had it not been for insufficient drawer space in the bedroom for a 7 night stay and the noise coming from an adjacent sports centre, school, and outdoor swimming baths on the north facing side of the hotel. This was particularly irritating at times when relaxing by the hotel swimming pool or on the balcony back in the room. The rooftop bar also got quite loud in the evenings and because our room was on the floor below, not far from the source, caused me to complain. The hotel dealt with the complaint very professionally and expeditiously by moving us to a quieter room which also turned out, to our surprise, to be a free upgrade. All of the staff we encountered were very courteous and customer focused which contributed to a very enjoyable stay despite the aforementioned downsides.

Nice hotel, a little chaotic…….
When we arrived at 3pm, the whole check in system seemed very long winded. And our room wasn’t ready. So we had to what another 15 minutes. To be fair, they did upgrade our room and gave us access to the rooftop pool and bar which is only available to all guests after 5.30pm The room itself was very nice. Big bed, lovely terrace and very spacious bathroom. A very restful nights sleep. Breakfast was included in our stay and was very chaotic. Waiting for a table, and then waiting a further 20 mins for coffee. Seemed like the staff were finding it difficult to cope. Only had one night here, it was enjoyable but a little marred by a couple of issues…..

Nos trataron como si no fuéramos clientes. Coincidimos con alojamiento de equipo de fútbol y el Hotel solo se preocupó de la estancia de este equipo, sin prestar ninguna atención a nosotros. Muchísimos zonas y servicios bloqueados por seguridad del hotel que solo hacía caso a la seguridad del equipo. Solo acataban órdenes de la seguridad del equipo, hasta me echaron del Hall del hotel, pasillos, escaleras, y con muy malas maneras. Un trato muy malo y mala experiencia

Fantastic historical hotel with beautiful garden. The room was very nice and clean. Downside was the experience at the lobby bar. We ordered a couple of sandwiches which was absolutely not eatable. The French fries was raw. Made us feel sick and uncomfortable. We gave this feedback to the waiter but he didn't care and we had to pay it all. Big minus.
