En uge på Taj Dubai
Velkomsten på Taj var fantastisk. Lækreste store værelse næstøverst oppe. Treehouse er en lækker udebar på 3. Etage og dj. Restaurant Tess havde virkelig god mad med en thaikok og en top nepalesisk service (Raman). Generelt var servicen i top overalt på hotellet. Lige fra man blev mødt foran hotellet til rengøringen. Poolbaren åbnede ret random selvom den sagde kl 11. Så var den 12 nogle dage før de åbnede og solen (vinter) forsvandt ved 13.30tiden. Maden fra roomservice er ikke pengene værd, og står i kontrast til alt andet der er så godt. Køb maden nede på gaden i stedet for og tag med op, masser af fint udvalg i nærheden.

property was nice and clean, Location was good. But it was smelly like Indian spices and bad smell of sweat. 90 percent of crowd was Indians, which is fine, if it wasn't smelly. Sorry to say that. Taj has a very good reputation, that's why we reserved it. But the atmosphere and crowd was way below expectations. No more Taj.

Greeted with a warm welcome and drink. The hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. The restaurants are excellent as is the breakfast. The gym was 24hr and all around the facilities were of a very good standard.

Really enjoyed our stay at Taj Dubai - having stayed at Taj Cape Town the previous year we had an idea of what to expect. Distance to Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa - make use of the free shuttle service for this, walking in the Dubai heat is no joke. The shuttle service helps makes this easier. Taxis are also readily available from the hotel or Dubai Mall. The Metro station for Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall is a long walk away btw so if you're in a hurry, set out early or.. take a taxi. The hotel abd staff were all very welcoming, pleasant and accomodating. The breakfast is varied to a point, we stayed for 7 days, it got a little samey so a little more variety would be great. Staff though are great. Our room was lovely and ready earlier than expected which was a very pleasant start to our stay. Its worth getting a room with lounge access - high tea and.cocktail hours are great after a day exploring or just for indulging. We also took advantage of the pool facilities - great for a cool down in the heat. Overall we had a great time at the Taj Dubai
