This hotel in Sanur, Bali didn't impress us. Except a nice pool area, the hotel had many cons.
Service on the hotel:
From the very start we had a bad experience. From our booking on hotels.com we had requested to get a king size bed, but we got a room with two small queensized beds. We spoke with the reception about this, but they couldn't find a new room for us, due to a fully booked hotel. First after our complains to hotels.com and after 1 day we got a new room as that we ordered.
When arriving to the hotel, it took a while before someone was helping us with our suitcases. When asking if we could get a taxi, the receptionist told us that there were no taxi available. When going to the street a lot taxi were available. On our friends room, the aircondition didn't work, and after the hotel tried to fix several times it stopped working again.
In general the staff weren't kind, as they were other places on Bali.
The cleaning:
Our first room was mucky (see pictures). Dust was visible. The hotel is only 2 year old, it looked like is was 30 years old. Painting on the walls were cracking and the walls also had a lot of dirty spots.
The food:
We ate in the restaurant for breakfast every day, and we had dinner one evening. After the dinner we both had diarrhoea and stomarch pain. The food weren't warm and the bread was freezing inside.
Overall:
This hotel is not to be recommended.
