I like this little place. If you are looking for something fancy this is not your place. If you are looking for something in the heart of Cle Elum with options and easy access to places this is it. The staff is great and the room was clean. Parking was easy to navigate. Would stay here again

No hot water, room was not that clean, hair on shower wall and dirty shower curtain.big hole in carpet with large stain on carpet floor. All lamps unplugged had to move bed to plug one in. It’s an old property that needs updating.

Wasn't able to check in. Was told she was the only one there and I couldn't check in early. Wouldn't book this hotel again. $86 wasted that I can't get back. Ended up going to a different hotel that was much nicer and staff was friendly and was told that timber lodge doesn't have good reviews. Now I see why.

Dear Nicole,I am sorry that you were not able to check-in to our hotel. Even though our check-in time is 3:30pm, I have refunded the amount Expedia charged you (81.04) back to your card. I also had a chat with our staff and they mentioned that they were going to get back to you to check if a room was ready, but that you had already left by the time they were available. Again, we apologize for the confusion and hope you will consider us in future.

Timber lodge was the cheapest motel to stay at which is why I picked it. The room was clean, check in easy, easy access to restaurants and gas stations. Friendly staff. My biggest complaint which they can’t do much about is the train that runs behind the motel. A few nights it ran thru 2-3 times blasting the horn. So bring ear plugs. Tv had a nice selection of Chanel’s. Bed was ok but a little hard. Daily breakfast was just toast. Coffee available but no liquid creamer. They use keys to get into your room but that same key opens up all the doors to get into the hotel, so I had to question, is it the same key for every hotel room? If not, how do they do that ? lol. Not bad for the price. I would stay again.

All I needed was a place to sleep after long days in town. The best part was the bed. Super comfortable. Other than that, the facilities are rundown and neglected.

Property clearly on its last legs. Hardest mattress I’ve ever seen on a bed. Room was clean, linens ok. Towels terrible. Sink would barely drain. Price was lowest in town for a reason. Luckily, all I was seeking was a bed and bathroom. Nice people working there but wouldn’t come back.

Holes in sheets, stained sheets, stains on towels, stained carpets, not sure if sheets were even cleaned since last guest. There was liquid/stain spilled/sprayed on ceiling, damage on walls in several places, toilet seat not attached on one side. Will not stay there again.

The morning person at the desk was very rude and dismissive we only stayed for two nights and both days she seemed annoyed we were there. When we got to the room I always look through drawers and how clean the room is there was random trash and receipt in the drawers hair in the shower on the walls and the tub. Was very displeased with everything.

I was really disappointed and discouraged from evee coming back. My family and i travel there every year and stay here because we have to bring our dog. We had plastic knives down the sink, dirty floors, toenails on the side of the bed, dirty pillow cases (smelled like peoples washed hair, and had white spots) boogers smeared on the wall, the bed had dark brwon crusty crap on the mattress frame, i ended up cutting myswlf on part of the bed frame hanging out, moldy hard food leftover frozen in pur fridge, heavy black mold in the bathroom. This isnt even all of it, but to top off they offered us MOLDY ORANGES for brealfast and the lady at rhe front desk didnt seemed phased. I also asked about a discount for ESA but was told it was only 20$ and could afford it. And then the purple hair lady proceeded to tell me our dog was considered a rodent/rat..

I have reviewed your stay with our manager, and we have taken steps to fix the missed house cleaning checklist items.Regarding our pet fee, please understand that the fee goes towards extra cleaning required for pet rooms and higher insurance costs for providing our guests with this facility. I have gone over this with our staff, so they explain this better in the future.Besides that, we did not hear of oranges being moldy from other guests as they were brought in the very day of your arrival.Again, we are sorry for your experience, and we thank you for your feedback.

Although breakfast was listed and COULD be considered available, coffee was only single-serve Keurig. There was no juice, nothing hot and bare minimum - instant breakfast, hot water, tea, Swiss Miss and apple cider packets. Just 30 miles down the road in Ellensburg was another establishment significantly less expensive with a full hot breakfast.

There's no surprises regarding the quality of the room you're staying in given the price point. It was a cheap stay and the accommodations matched that. Heather at the front desk went above and beyond to help my friend and I as we needed a few supplies for a hike that we had forgotten and she found them for is in a back room. If you just need somewhere to sleep for a night or two i would recommend this place!

Want to re-visit the 1960s? Book this Hotel! What a DUMP. There are many other choices nearby – all better than this I feel sure. Booked online and they should be arrested for the misleading images they use. We fell for it – don’t repeat our mistake. Paid DOUBLE what an ancient dump like this should cost. Can get small town Hilton brand properties for about this rate, and earn some HHonors miles. Near empty, and little wonder. Room number was #100C. No idea about interior of other rooms. Strange rules you needed to sign up fro at check in including a $100 free if the simple old school room key was lost or not returned. This is 2023 folks not 1963. Owner has a passion for crazy rules and every door has amateur looking quarto typed notes all over them, and breakfast room has many. Like being back in high school again. Run down exteriors, lobby, and rooms, and surrounds, even down to 10 year old decrepit and disintegrating door mats outside etc. $10 each to replace from Lowes. Re-visiting the 1960s, as that was last time most of it updated am sure. Bed sheets and pillow cases had NOT been newly laundered I will bet. Hairs on both. Bathroom in #100c had a newish bathroom, in fairness, and room had been painted. But old school dated layout. Needs a work desk – plenty of room for that. Large tall WEEDS all around front and back – one a yard high right by front lobby check in door – very lazy owners and staff – takes only 5 minutes to pull those up and add

We love the Timber lodge! We have stayed there a few times before. Such a good value for the money. The staff was friendly and so helpful- we had such a great room! It was upstairs, roomy and quiet with a comfortable bad and a great shower.

The room smelled like people had been smoking in there for decades. It was fairly quiet, but in the morning when I checked out, the desk person did not even look up from counting her money to answer my good morning. The actual lobby does not look like the picture at all. I have stayed in many hotel rooms for under $90 and this one was sub par.

This place is what I call reasonably cheap and mostly cheerful. The rooms are adequate if you mostly just want to sleep and shower before heading out for the day. No coffee in rooms, no TV guide, no hair dryer. The shower was slippery with no grab bar. Everything thing is on a slope. No cleaning of rooms each day. They cleaned with something so powerful, I had to open the window to air the place out. Staff adequately polite, but nothing more. Breakfast was instant oatmeal, toast, fruit. That's it. It was fine for our purposes, but certainly nothing special.

Not happy with our stay, room was dirty, mold in bathroom, tub water spout was broken and water leaked (a lot) the whole time. They used a deodorizer to cover up the smell. We checked out early it was just to bad.

I can say was quiet, check is was wonderful. She even helped me make reservations for next years events. The room was neat and orderly and I loved having a sliding glass door to open. Huge drawback is no coffee in the room. I will stay here next year.

The hotel is a no frills kinda place. If you're just looking for a place to crash for a night, it's great. The decor is outdated and the breakfast is just fruit, coffee, and toast. The service was nice enough. The bed and pillows were not super comfy.

We had an amazing stay here! The rooms are clean and quiet and kept cool in the heat! There were plenty of restraints in the area and plenty of TV channels to choose from! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t want to break their budget and have a nice clean and safe room! It also has free Wi-Fi!

Very, very, very … limited breakfast No milk for coffee, quickly ran out of bread, very little fruit, no muffins. We asked for milk for coffee, she replied “We don’t have milk”. I guess they’re no cows or goats near by. Coffee whitener would have worked So …. Stay away from this place

We’ve stayed here a few times before, (convenient location when headed to east side) but we are now crossing it off our list. Bed was as hard as just sleeping on the floor. We found trash behind nightstand when plugging in our charger. We could get no hot water from either the sink or the shower. And breakfast was no more than toast. Not even juice available. We won’t be back.
