Enjoyed the experience of staying in a caboose! The breakfast the next morning was delicious, and the staff was very accommodating for my wife’s food sensitivities. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean and fresh. The caboose was rather moldy and musty, but by opening up all the windows we were able to air it out sufficiently. When using the jetted tub - a nice feature! - we ran out of hot water before it could completely fill. It did recover enough to shower off rather quickly.

The toilet seat was NOT cleaned. The rest of the room was spotless. The parking lot was not super inviting. Unsure where to park, seemed like abandoned vehicles around. Overall great.

We stayed at South Pacific Line caboose. It’s our first time staying at such a cute, stylish historic place. It’s full of rich history and an absolute hidden gem. We learned a lot! The owner is so friendly. They offer a full breakfast with options. We were surprised by the portion given the price of a one-night stay :) Highly recommended to stay at one of the cabooses!

I loved my stay at The Iron Horse Inn Bed and Breakfast last week. I stayed in the main bunkhouse and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast options were all excellent. I tried something new each morning and was not disappointed. Matt and LeAnne have created a welcoming and homey vibe. Would highly recommend a stay and would lik to stay in a private caboose next time.

Should advertise with more clarity, was disappointed at not having a caboose room. Would not have book at all, had i known. The person who checked me in was friendly and informative, just had to wait a bit cause she was checking someone out at the time. Couldnt find parking near the entrance which was disappointing as well and i wasnt sure what to do Room has no tv and seems

Loved the train theme. Brought back childhood memories of growing up in a small train community. Also the landscaping had some trees that smelled so sweet, they reminded me of time with my grandparents. The hosts were friendly and very accommodating.

The location and owners are very nice. Staff were very nice. The room was lackluster and bed was uncomfortable, also the area surrounding the house had a lot of trash, and was very messy. If they put a little bit more time into cleaning up the area around the house and a little bit more detail into the rooms, this would be a nice place to come back to. Hopefully they figure things out and make some improvements soon.

I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We have read the coments and are sharing with our staff to make improvements. Our landscaping is an on going project that we hope to have completed next year.

Surprised my wife with this find on a 2 week road trip. Very unique property. Stay in the old bunkhoue or vintage caboose, Innkeepers very hospitable & breakfast was delightful. You want something out of the ordinary? You wont be disappointed. We loved it!

Adorable little stay in Cle Elum! We booked a room in the bunkhouse and had an amazing night of sleep. The room was cozy and adorable. We had a great breakfast in the morning as well, and I would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our overnight stay very much. The property is quaint and comfortable, the staff friendly, the breakfast delicious. We also enjoyed discovering how close we were to the Cascade-Palouse trail, and that we could walk to a lovely BBQ place.

Loved it here
This was one of the best places we've ever stayed. The owners, husband and wife team, are very friendly. We stayed in the Northern Caboose and loved it. Not only are they friendly but informative. They know the history of the area and gave us great ideas on where to go and what to do. Staying in the caboose was fun and peaceful. If you're looking for a quiet, natural setting to get away then this is the place. The jetted tub should be front and center for one of their advertising points because we spent quite a bit of time in the one in our room. I'm 5' 10" and my wife is 5' 2" and we easily fit in the tub with room to spare. The caboose is up to date so you also have all the same amenities as any hotel room. Finally there was breakfast. This is not some continental breakfast where they toss out some honey buns and give you a waffle maker with the hopes your smart enough to use it ( I may or may not be the person who needed help) but a full on meal. Hands down this was the best breakfast I have had at any stay. We were asked what we would like the day before while they gave options and it was amazing. I would absolutely stay here again and will tell others to do the same.
