Rob and Janet were the perfect hosts and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. If we ever go back to the UK, This is where we want to stay. So quiet and relaxing. "This stylish homely cottage has everything you need for a relaxing getaway you also have Sally as host. Within the city wall the location is perfect to enjoy the city’s history, shopping, restaurants and coffee houses. Well worth a visit to Chester."

"Property is ideal for a couple, short or longer stay. Very clean and comfortable. Location is excellent within a quiet area very close to City Centre. Great shops - highly recommended Butcher - and three great Pubs with nearest next door but one and furthest about a minute away. Parking on road is limited to 30 minutes between 0800 and 1800, but parking available close by, and was ok. Would recommend this property."

"I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Riverbridge Cottage. We loved being in such a unique property, and its vibrant location. It was a glorious weekend and so we were able to use the first floor terrace. The cottage has all the comforts of home and Barbara and Neil clearly care about the cottage and their guests. Wonderful."

"Had no peace when in the cottage. The adjoining cottage was being refurbished so all we got all day was drilling ,hammering and sanding on the walls. Had to go out even when it was pouring of rain as couldn’t stand the noise."

"We have used Hotels.com many times and Sykes cottages a number of times this past year al very good and this was excellent. The booking was easy but the owner of this cottage was excellent in communication and instructions ( Gaynor ) there isn’t enough I could say and we had the privilege of meeting her when she did midweek check on jacuzzi. "Pre check in email was very useful about how to find the nearest car park, but missed the part about not being able to book the parking for more than 24 hours so you have to sit for your current session to expire before paying again. Check out time was incorrect stating 1100 when booking email stated by noon. I reply to confirm but didn’t hear back from property. Messaged and called to try and arrange a late check out but no answer or reply via the message facility on here. Panel missing from...
