Charming and comfortable
We greatly enjoyed staying in such a well-equipped, comfortable house containing a wealth of material on the local area. The house is well situated in an interesting and historic town. Our host provided much detailed information for parking, arriving and enjoying the region. Strongly recommended.

Maison de village très typique
Bon descriptif de la maison sur le site excepté la non mention des trois étages et la disposition des pièces par rapport aux étages ! Le salon avec la tv se trouve au 3eme étage. Et, nous étions avec une personne âgée (88 ans).

A lovely well equipped property in the centre of a beautiful French town.
Great hosts with good communication prior to stay. Clean, very well equipped property full of character. 100m to boulongeries each morning was nice. Lovely eating opportunities in the square just around the corner with amazing market on Saturdays. Would stay here again.

A Warm Welcome in the Center of Ceret
This is our second time renting this property and we hope to return many more times. Let’s start with its location, which is perfect, right in the heart of town but still relatively free from the heavy foot traffic of the main roads. You are just steps from the Place dès Neuf Jets, a lively square with several restaurants and one of our favorite places to go in the evenings. Turn the other way out the door and you soon find your way to one of the main town roads that leads you to more cafes and shops. The house itself was a perfect size for our small family. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed and bathrooms had all you need for a pleasant stay. The owners are very helpful and communicative and provide useful information, both about the house and the region. We highly recommend this rental.

Fabulous place to escape the UK winter!
The house is exactly as described, very well equipped and in the centre of town. Sam and Maggi were brilliant at accommodating the every changing nature of the restrictions, and we were able to shift our dates easily. The instructions were helpful and the additional information about the area was excellent. The town is delightful and we enjoyed our whole 5 weeks there, and we were very sad to leave.

Très bon séjour à Céret
Emplacement idéal entre deux jolis places et à proximité immédiate de la partie piétonne de la ville. La place des neuf jets est charmante avec des restaurants et terrasses à l'ombre des platanes. Maison agréable, reflétant l'attachement des propriétaires au lieu. La literie est confortable ainsi que les chambres. La pièce pour cuisiner et déjeuner occupe l'ensemble du rez de chaussée tandis que la pièce à vivre est au 3ème niveau. Aux étages intermédiaires se situent les deux chambres. Une salle de bain spacieuse au premier étage et une seconde plus petite au second. De l'espace et des escaliers agréables à utiliser. L'accueil à été fait par Valérie en charge de la mise en ordre de la maison entre deux locations. D'une belle gentillesse et prête à aider nous avons beaucoup apprécié son accueil. Un séjour d'une semaine que nous avons beaucoup apprécié à la découverte de Ceret, sa région et le littoral mais dont la réussite tient pour bonne place à la qualité de la location. Nous recommandons vivement

Outstanding property in a great central location!
Beautiful and spacious property with an excellent location in central Ceret. Very comfortable for our family of four (kids aged 6 and 10yrs). Bakery literally around the corner. Charcuterie, wine stores, restaurants and more just a couple of minutes walk from the front door. The top room has a great open layout with a nice wood stove. Perfect cozy location for playing games and reading on cool January evenings. The host was excellent and went above and beyond to help us make the most of our stay. This place is a gem!

A wonderful Christmas time
We enjoyed a few wonderful days in lovely Céret, the house was exactly what we wished for. At the center of the old town, original french style, yet modern comfort. Couldn't have been any better! Thank you!

Molt còmode
La casa està molt ben situada, el carrer és molt tranquil. Per dins, la casa és molt còmoda i té tot el necessari per a fer-hi l'estada agradable. Destaco el parament de la cuina! La informació prèvia dels propietaris molt completa. Els llits són molt còmodes. Hi ha molts llibres (en anglès la majoria) i música i DVD i jocs que permeten de passar el temps si no vols sortir, tot i que quedar-se a casa a Ceret és difícil perquè el poble i els voltants tenen prou atractius. Ceret és molt a prop de tot (Canigó, Perpinyà, Colliure...); és a dir, sense passar massa temps al cotxe pots gaudir de paissatges molt interessants.

Idéalement situé
Maison idéalement situé dans le vieux Ceret et bien localisé géographiquement (près mer, Espagne et montagne). Maison possédant tout le confort nécessaire à un agréable séjour (jeu pour enfant, cuisine équipé, linge de maison...). Beaucoup de cartes et livres sur la région sont a disposition. Les propriétaires sont très prévenants avant le séjour, et ont même pris de nos nouvelles lors de notre arrivée. Nous recommandons cette location.

Bustling little town
Letting ourselves in was simple and the directions given were very good. The house is big and very well appointed and there is sufficient of everything to see you through your stay, including herbs, spices, sugar etc. but it could have done with a good clearout as there was far too much stuff and no idea how old some of it was. It was lovely to be so close to shops and restaurants, but there is a price to pay, namely that these shops and restaurants need to be re-stocked every day, and they like to do these thing fairly early in the mornin . We were lucky we could get parked each day in the littlesquare a 50 metre walk from the apartment and all free. There is a good supply of supermarkets in the area as well, always useful for self catering. On Saturday there was a market which stretches across quite a few streets and the traders sold a lovely variety of stuff . All in all, it was a nice stay, but it was incredibly hot the week we were there (last week July) and it would have been nice to have airconditioning, at least in the bedrooms.

Centrally located house.
This house could not be in a better position. Its close to absolutely everything in the lovely town of Ceret. Downstairs is a beautiful kitchen diner which is well equipped and very cool to retreat to after the heat from outside. The bedrooms are lovely and each has a fax, much needed for our stay when they was a heatwave.

Als wenn man in das eigene Haus kommt: alles da und in Ordnung. Perfekt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und natürlich um die Atmosphäre der Stadt zu genießen.

Cozy and Charming!
Staying in this charming four-story apartment - in the heart of this sweet little French town - enhanced the wonderful experience we had in Ceret. The winding greenery and lavender shutters on the outside were picture-perfect and standouts on the street. The kitchen was very well-equipped; and the winding stone stairways added to the authenticity. The master bath was large and comfortable, and the fab fourth-floor living room made us want to throw a party. we loved feeling like locals and would highly recommend this beautiful place!

Fantastic family holiday - enjoyed Ceret lifestyle and house is great
The house was an attraction in itself with many people taking photos - very pretty with flowering climbers and flowers at the windowsill. The house is equipped with everything you should need including much needed fans at night, every kitchen/dining utensil, Netflix which was great for the kids for films some evenings and a fab newly decorated bathroom and very easy to feel at home. It has 2 Boulangeries within a mins walk. We loved exploring the town in the evening and sampling beers and sangria in the local bars while listening to various live music. The house is in the centre of it all but down an alleyway that means it is quieter apart from when there is music in the bar opposite. A good excuse to try their tapas and beers! Our 3 children, aged 12, 14 and 18 enjoyed the pedalos at the lake at St Jean, the beach at Racou. We had a day trip to Gerona and collioure. The highlights were "easy" canyoning at Gorges de Galamus with Action Aventure and swimming at Duilhac sous Peyrepeteuse and an overnight stay in Carcassonne on our way back to Toulouse. Thankyou for a fab holiday and all the thought you gave with your recommendations and accommodating us with changing travel arrangements. We hope to be back some day.

Très agréable séjour à Céret
La maison est spacieuse, propre et idéalement située pour les sorties dans Céret. Le linge de lit et de toilette fournis évitent de s'encombrer de trop de valises. Ménage de fin de séjour inclus dans le prix. Nombreuses animations proposées par la ville et les restaurants/bars. Le parking est très facile et à proximité. Nombreuses cartes Michelin, IGN et livres de randonnées disponibles dans la maison. Magnifiques ballades à pied à effectuer dans les hauteurs proches de Céret et de Le Boulou. La bibliothèque à proximité propose des cartes de membres pour un mois pour toute la famille à un très petit prix. A bientôt... j'espère.
