"The Heron is a very well maintained vintage building with the creature comforts and customer service to entice me to want to return for a longer visit. There’s ample parking and we were able to plug in our electric car. The lobby area features an appealing lounge with massive fireplace and seating as well as the breakfast dining area. Breakfast was of a good standard with fruit and eggs made to order . The rooms have a mixture of vintage charm and expansive windows along with a nice bathroom...

"The property was very peaceful and absolutely gorgeous, the only issue we had was how hot the room was at night. I had to replace the thermostat batteries with the remote batteries just so it would work. 12am it was 80° in our room with the windows fully open and the fans going. But we will be back someday! "

We viewed and connected with so much of site-seeing of otters, variety of birds, fish and ducklings, not to forget about the breathtaking view of the stars and moonlight. The treehouse is a great area to view the lake and to meditate. The owners Bet, John and their greeter Sadie are very welcoming. "The online check-in worked very well, and the house was great and very clean. Unfortunately we had a problem with electricity to the kitchentte including the refrigerator. We wrote to Vince about it on the first evening. He answered very quickly and contacted maintainance and promissed it would be fixed asap, but it never Got to work, and we did not hear from him the following the days, which was a bit odd. Apart from that we liked our stay in the lovely house and the quiet neighborhood. "

"Decent hotel which is not super far from Microsoft which I was visiting. The breakfast buffet while included in the price was just some bread and bagels you could heat and eat and some cereals. I would have been OK to pay extra and get a better serivice and less carbs. The rooms themselves are good, furnished well for a business trip. WiFi works and has decent speeds. Not the greatest view out of the windows, but a short walk from the Hotel you will find Marymoor Park which has some very good views if you are into that. Only downside about the room is that sound travels too well between the rooms. You can hear your neighbors and people on the corridors. During the night it is mostly quiet. Although, I did have a neighbor who decided to do phone calls a 3am, which the friendly staff did take care off. All in all I was happy with my stay."
