Lovely hotel and facilities. Delicious food. Large rooms. Contemporary and luxurious fittings. Restful and quiet stay. Genuine 5 star review. Just be aware it's 30 mins drive from Lecce in rather featureless countryside. Once you enter the gates it's a different world.

Beautiful grounds and spacious rooms!
Beautiful grounds and spacious room! Service was fantastic and food at the restaurant was very good with a good selection of wines. An opportunity would be to upgrade the workout room with newer equipment. As for the location, it was a good central location to visit various cities in the surrounding area. However, there wasn’t much available locally so keep that in mind.

Luxurious peaceful getaway
Very peaceful, relaxing environment. Good buffet options for breakfast. We stayed in a suite with access to a rooftop patio. Amazing swimming pool and friendly service. The room was very spacious. Only downside is that you definitely require a vehicle if you are visiting from out of town as there isn’t much to do around the area. Really enjoyed the stay

Séjour exceptionnel, personnel d’une gentillesse énorme est très à l’écoute. Seule bémol les chambres n’étaient pas très propres, pas digne d’un 5* c’est vraiment dommage car ils ont tout pour être un hôtel d’exception.

Amazing hotel with beautiful surroundings. The room sizes are very generous and beautifully decorated. Even little things like Aircon which is very quiet are top notch. Now the best part- the personelle. I think I’ve never been to a hotel before where everyone was super engaged to ensure that you’re having a wonderful time. At the furnirussi this is exactly the case. EVERYONE was going above and beyond to ensure you got everything you need. They were always nice and attentive no matter how busy it was. An absolute gem and I would go again just for the level of service there. TOP NOTCH

We had a lovely stay at Furnirussi Tenuta. Beautifully done hotel. The staff was kind, helpful and courteous and made us feel very welcome. The pool was gorgeous and quite delightful (our son LOVED the pool). Our room felt luxurious and was quite spacious. Overall top notch. Two things to keep in mind-1) location is a bit remote. This was not a concern for us, however if you are looking for a hotel in the middle of town this may not be right for you. 2) the gym is open air. I tend to get easily overheated exercising in the heat of summer so this was not ideal for me. It would have been a bit better if there was a fan for some air flow on days with no breeze. We loved our stay! Thank you so much for being a highlight of our trip to Puglia!

splendida vacanza

A place you want to make your home
We picked the Furnirussi Tenuta for our family of 4 because of the central location in Salento and the beautiful pictures of the property, but it was the property and service overall that blew us away. We intended to drive out to towns and beaches most days, but my wife and children begged to spend extra days on the property. The pool was just gorgeous and so peaceful. It was a setting unlike any other. The restaurant was outstanding and the staff so friendly. And the guestroom design was so smart and beautiful. We want to go back... soon. Really well done by the owner and the entire team.

A lovely resort in the countryside
A beautiful resort nestled away in the countryside. Lovely pool, great staff especially the Head waiter Hugo. They arranged a great wine tasting for us and we hired bikes to go fig picking on the actual resort.

Beautiful hotel in a remote location
The hotel and grounds are stunning. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We didn’t eat dinner in the restaurant but we ate lunch by the pool and the food was excellent. You definitely need a car to make the most of exploring this area of Italy.

Goûts particuliers de la nouriture.
La présentation des diners est supperbe mais les goûts ne sont pas toujours correctes. Le gin-fizz du barman n’était pas réusi du tout. L’hotel est très isolé.

A peu de distance, on trouve facilement la mer et toutes les villes les plus importantes du Salento. Pour ce qui concerne le restaurant: on sait bien que chaqun a ses goûts que nous respectons. Mais merci pour avoir remarqué que le Gin Fizz n'était pas bien réussi: notre but est d'améliorer toujours et satisfaire nos Clients. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au calme dans ce magnifique hôtel. Le personnel est très prévenant et très sympathique. Nous étions surpris de trouver autant de personnes parlant le français. Le restaurant bien qu’un peu cher propose des plats très originaux et raffinés. La piscine est magnifique et très calme également. Nous étions en début de saison avec un hôtel peu occupé. Nous avons pu visiter de Salento depuis notre localisation.

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti in questo Hotel con il nostro cane(30€ a notte di extra). L'albergo è davvero bello si trova in una tenuta di campagna a pochi km da Otranto e dalle migliori spiagge della costa adriatica salentina. Dispone di una piscina grandissima(non a caso viene definita come laghetto) e di un magnifico giardino curato in ogni dettaglio con possibilità di passeggiate all'interno dove vi sono amache, panchine e altalene per rilassarsi. Le camere sono ampie, confortevoli e pulite(se non fosse che spesso le signore delle pulizie dimenticano le finestre del patio posteriore aperte facendo entrare grossi insetti nella stanza). Molto interessante il fatto che vi sia il pacchetto Sky completo nelle stanze, per permettere agli appassionati di non perdere la partita della propria squadra o magari di vedersi un film la sera prima di andare a dormire. Personale dell'albergo qualificato ed estremamente cordiale, il resto dei servizi è di alto livello come d'altronde tutta la struttura.

A week is not long enough for this place! I would definitely come back. Overall very attentive and friendly staff, however restaurant staff could be a bit warmer and engaging. Attention to detail is on point! Local area is remote from hustle and bustle but that is what makes it a perfect hideaway.

L'hôtel est calme, propre, très beau, la piscine parait irréelle. Le petit déjeuné est varié, copieux et frais. Il y a seulement 22 chambres et le personnes est dans l'ensemble très agréable. Un bémol toutefois avec certains employés peu avenants. On regrettera vu le prix des chambre qu'il n'y ait pas de petites attentions gratuites .... manger le petit gateau que l'on croit être un cadeau de bienvenu peut faire grimper la note .....

A gorgeous getaway
The perfect two night stay with my husband celebrating our honeymoon. We had the most beautiful room and private terrace and couldn't have been happier with the service, food and spa. Loved every minute of it.

Fabulous hotel that goes the extra mile
Just returned from a wonderful 4 day stay at Furnirussi. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and is exceptionally peaceful. The hotel team can't do enough for you and helped with restaurant and beach club bookings in lovely Otranto and further afield - Thanks Ilena and Roberta! Would recommend for a great break away from it all.

Loved the hotel- not the greatest service
Great hotel, loved the room!! stayed there 8 days. Service was not the greatest, ie. when ordering lunch no one came for our plates when we were finished, had to search for staff 20 minutes almost everytime we wanted water etc. after an hour we carried the lunch back ourself, breakfast staff understood english very poorly so a lot of things we ordering ended up wrong, had to bring knife/fork ourselves from inside etc. Asked for salt and pepper, forgot to bring it. Not the best, but the hotel/design is beautiful.

Das Paradies im Süden!
Wir waren die ersten Gäste am Tag der Saisoneröffnung und wirden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und wird laufend gepflegt. Das Frühstück am ersten Morgen wurde aufs Zimmer serviert. Am dritten Tag dann waren genügend Gäste. Die Auswahl war ok, aber etwas mehr Liebe zum Detail hat gefehlt. Aber sonst wirklich zum Wiederkommen. Die Hotelküche war wirklich Spitze. Die Karte knapp aber gut. Bei mehreren Tagen muss man eben fragen. Alles in Allem. SUPER!

Wonderful stay
This hotel may be a bit more expensive than the average, yet surely not as much as than hotels in its class, closer to tourist hot spots. And it is absolutely worth your money. Situated 15' away from Otranto and its sandy beaches, less than 30' away from beautiful baroque and lively Lecce, it sits at the edge of one of these dormant Puglia villages, and is therefore wonderfully peaceful. The grounds are beautiful. The lake-shaped swimming pool is superb, well sized vis a vis the hotel capacity - so one never feels a lack of privacy (in sharp contrast to all beaches we saw). Rooms are super comfy - simply but beautifully decorated, full of light, little private "garden" at the back, nice bathrooms, and the bedding is terrific. Service is wonderful - everyone really nice and smiling and helpful. And the food..... wow... this chef knows what he/she is doing ! Sure it will be more expensive than at the local trattoria, but it was as close to gourmet food as we got to sample during our entire trip, and prices are not excessive for the quality. And in addition there are plenty of local options for eating outside of the compound. We HIGHLY recommend this place. It was the highlight of our trip

Per lavoro mi capita di soggiornare in resort 5 stelle, ma questa volta sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso. Per arrivare al Resort si attraversa una frazione di paese quasi deserta e poi addentrarci in mezzo alla macchia mediterranea per arrivare a quest'oasi meravigliosa che si apre ai nostri occhi. L'accoglienza impeccabile. La stanza di dimensioni perfette per potersi rilassare e godere degli ampissimi spazi. Dalla parte opposta all'entrata della stanza si accede ad un ampio giardino privato munito di due lettini prendisole. Il bagno e la doccia di dimensioni notevoli e muniti di accessori raffinatissimi. Tutto nuovissimo! Piscina quasi olimpionica avvolta da una inifinità di piante a proteggere il giardino perimetrale: STUPENDA!! La cucina dello chef non ha nulla da invidiare ad un risotrante pluristellato michelin (DA PROVARE!!). Ma soprattutto lo staff preparatissimo e cordialissimo, sempre sorridenti, gentili, premurosi; forse la proprietà del resort è andata ad un concorso di bellezza per scegliere il personale perchè dai camerieri, alle ragazze della reception, alle signore delle pulizie, tutti giovani e meno giovani di bella presenza e sempre col sorriso. Sicuramente il prossimo anno ci ritorneremo!

Tolles Ambiente, ruhig, idyllisch. Wir haben uns über das Upgrade sehr gefreut. Unser Zimmer war komfortabel, wunderschöner Ausblick aus dem Bad, freistehende Wanne. Die Matratze war leider viel zu weich und trotz unserer Bitte eine Lösung zu finden tat man das nicht und informierte uns auch gar nicht mehr. Das Angebot des Frühstücks ist für eine Unterkunft überschaubar, keine frischgepressten Säfte, kaum salzige Speisen, kein Käse. Jeden Tag das Gleiche. Unseren letzten Abend haben wir extra für ein Essen im Furnirussi Restaurant aufgehoben-leider eine riesen Enttäuschung. Angefangen von der langen Wartezeit über das Fehlen von vielen Speisen auf der Karte obwohl man jeden Tag gefragt wird ob man am Abend im Restaurant speisen möchte bis zum Service (haben uns den Wein selber eingeschenkt, über 20 min auf das Brot gewartet, viele unproduktive Kellner für wenige Tische die belegt waren.
