We had a fabulous holiday in Calpe the apartment was wonderful, the location especially, it had everything you’d need for a lovely stay, beds were very comfortable and air conditioning was a must as it got so hot in July . Las condiciones del contrato al adquirir el apartamento no eran las acordadas. Iba con con dos adultos mayores y el ascensor estaba estropeado. 8 pisos andando para unas personas mayores, no es viable. La limpieza no acordé con lo descrito. Deja mucho que desear. Mal olor y falta de limpieza visible. No puede quedarme en el apartamento hemos contrato este piso por las vistas y los comentarios y sin ningún previó avisó de que el ascensor está roto. a nuestra llegada nos encontramos que mis padres no podían subir andando y he tenido que buscar un hotel con los Gastón que esto conlleva. al intentar una negociación con el propietario. No obtuve solución. No me han querido devolver el dinero ni ningún tipo de solución. No lo recomiendo.

En primer lugar, no apareciste con dos padres ancianos. Tenías contigo un joven de unos 18/19 años y una mujer mayor, que subía las escaleras sin ningún problema. Entraste en el apartamento, atravesaste el salón y saliste al balcón. No viste en ningún momento ninguna de las habitaciones y te quejaste de un olor. Se le informó que venía de afuera. El apartamento estaba perfectamente limpio y ordenado, con toallas limpias, etc. Me he negado a reembolsarle el dinero ya que el apartamento estaba como se dijo y estaba a la altura. El olor se había ido cuando mi agente regresó al día siguiente. No nos hacemos responsables de los olores externos que entren en el apartamento. He notificado a Vrbo del incidente que han registrado y también se les ha enviado un vídeo del estado del apartamento, al que han acordado que era perfectamente aceptable. Todas nuestras críticas son buenas y la mayoría de la gente comenta lo limpio y ordenado que está el apartamento, ¿por qué sería diferente para ti?

A pesar de los percances... estuvimos tres días sin ascensor y es un octavo.... El apartamento en general esta bien pero habria q solventar alguna cosilla básica para que la estancia fuese mas comoda!! Eso si la ubicación es mas que perfecta!!

Gracias por tu reseña. He tenido en cuenta sus comentarios y, como le expliqué, algunos de los puntos planteados se habrían solucionado si hubiéramos podido salir al apartamento para completar esto (Covid puso fin a eso). Kirstie me ha asegurado que tenías suficientes toallas para tu estadía y que el ascensor solo estuvo fuera de servicio durante 2 de tus días y estaba fuera de mi control. Me alegro de que haya disfrutado de su estancia, a pesar de algunos pequeños inconvenientes, y le agradecería que se quedase de nuevo en el futuro.

Central location and close to the beech clean and tudt
Every thing was great really helpful could do with a good sofa and may be a double bed but the beds are comftable but will certainly be back again thank you for a great time

Geweldige prijs-kwaliteit verhouding!
Goede ligging; kort bij zee en vele restaurants, groot in oppervlakte, goede bedden, super airco op slaapkamers, mooi groot balkon. Nadeel: zitje in kamer niet echt comfortabel, ietwat gehorig appartementen ( denk aan oordoppen) Super prijs-kwaliteit!

Nice apartment with a good view
Was a nice and spacious apartment, clean and tidy with the supermarket just around the corner and plenty of restaurants nearby, the beach was a 5 minute walk with the sun out everyday, will book again next year.

Urlaub in Calpe
Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und war gut eingerichtet auch mit Sonnenstuhl und Schirmen. Einziger Nachteil, die Wohnzimmertür zum Balkon liess sich nicht öffen. Über das einer der Schlafzimmer konnte man auf den Balkon.

Calpe getaway.
I have visited Calpe many times since 1983, but mainly stayed with friends in The Jalon valley. However, this visit I needed to stay in rented accommodation. I found the Damara apartment rented from Amanda Palmer via Home Away satisfied my every requirement,close proximity to all facilities,restaurants,shops and only 5 minutes from the lovely beach. The apartment is well equipped and the air conditioning was more than welcome in temperatures ranging from 29 to 35 degrees,unusual for this time of year.i hope to return in the not too distant future. Great apartment, great location
Our experience at the apartment was excellent. There was only a 2min walk to the beach, many restaurants near, a pharmacy, as well as many clothes stores. The apartment’s size was just perfect, the kitchen wasn’t too big but quite comfortable. The best thing about the apartment was definitely the balcony, nice views and cooler temperature. However, the temperature in the rest of the house was a little too hot, but there were 3 fans so it was okay! Great experience.

FANTASTICO CON POSIZIONE OTTIMA
Fantastico appartamento con tutto il necessario e bellissima posizione a due passi dal mare. Appartamento molto luminoso e fresco essendo all'ottavo piano di un palazzo molto elegante con ascensore. Sotto casa ci son negozi di tutti i generi sia alimentari che abbigliamento e ristoranti con ottimi prezzi dove si mangia molto bene.

El apartamento es un apartamento tradicional español, que no tiene el aire acondicionado, que usted conocía en el momento de la reserva. Sin embargo, generalmente tiene una agradable brisa en el último piso, y hay ventiladores para su uso. En cuanto a Wi-Fi, de nuevo habrías sabido que no hay ninguno, pero la mayoría de los bares y restaurantes tienen wifi gratuito para tu uso. Estamos buscando instalar WiFi en el futuro. Saludos

Lovely spacious apartment
Lovely spacious well equipped apartment in a very good location, easy to get to beach and restaurants and the old town. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the apartment, the owners were very helpful as we had an early flight and wanted to get in early which they arranged for us. You can actually see the rock from the balcony. If we ever go back to Calpe we will definitely use this apartment

Great location for all Calpe has to offer
The property is spacious and well equipped. It is a short walk to the beach, supermarket and the old town. Despite being central the apartment was quiet as it located on the 8th floor. I would have no trouble recommending this property.

Excellent location and well equipped, felt like home from home.
The whole process was well managed and we received clear instructions on how to find the apartment. The property was clean, well equipped and felt like a home rather than just a holiday let. From the balcony you could see over Calpe to the hills towards Moraira, which gave beautiful sunrise views, and you can also see the rock and the sea. The apartment is in the main high street so with that comes traffic noise, but on the top floor this wasn't a problem. All rooms were spacious and had everything we needed, although some extra towels would have been great. We had a lovely 10 days and would definitely return to this property.

This is in a lovely location and very well equipped, the fans were very much used when we stayed in August, the owners were very helpful to, the only downside was I couldn't find the hairdryer which I discovered wasn't where it should be when I had wet hair 30 minutes before leaving for the airport! A fantastic stay though and hope to return,

Glad you enjoyed your stay. The hairdryer has been an issue. The original one had gone missing which we didn't realise until another guest pointed it out. They said they would buy one which they did, but we didn't know that they had taken it home with them. Another hairdryer has been purchased and hopeful this has now been resolved.

All clean and central to the beach shops and restaurants, perfect location.
The apartment was clean and welcoming. The only thing I thought could be better was the towels. The kitchen was well equiped but with so many bars and restaurants on your door step there was no need to cook. The apartment location was great as central to the shops, bars and restaurants with so much choice it was hard to decide where to eat first. The beach was just a few minutes walk away and you could see the sea from the balacony which was a great size you could sit and watch the town of Calpe go by. Would definatley use this apartment when traveling to Calpe again.

Perfectly located 2 bedroom apartment , well equipped and clean.
We (2 adults,2 teens) had a lovely 3 night stay at this apartment July 2016. The position is fantastic . so close to the beach and restaurants both literally a minutes walk away, there are also lots of nice shops ,supermarket and cash machine within a few feet ! The apartment is on the top floor ( there is a lift) allowing wonderful views of the sea and the main street which is great for people watching of an evening. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could need, we didn't cook but there was a wide range of pans and tools if you wished to do so. The washing machine was a bonus as was the safe for which there was no extra charge. There is a T.V and a great sound system with a variety of media should you need them. The apartment is clean and functional , the mattress covers could do with updating but we only noticed that as we arrived during the apartment being prepared for us, there are a couple of other little bits like updating the kettle, but to be honest that would be nit picking because Calpe is a wonderful resort and there is much to do here rather than examining every crevice of your apartment ;-) There are so many restaurants and bars to choose from, we tried a few ,all were much the same with a variety of local dishes ,pizzas, pasta etc. on offer Many of the seafront bars have happy hours on cocktails which is good if there are a few of you as they can work out quite expensive otherwise. The Salinas is within walking distance where you can see Flamingo in their natural habitat which was quite enchanting on a hot, sunny day. The owners daughter that we dealt with could not have been nicer or more helpful before, during and after our stay. Overall we would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to everyone.
