Flot hotel i gammel stil. Meget venligt personale. Stort værelse. Morgenmaden er helt i top, der er alt man kan tænke sig. Hotellet ligger mindre end 1 km fra den forbudte by. Kan kun anbefale dette hotel.

Super beliggenhed
Super godt hotel med perfekt placering. Det eneste som virkelig trækker ned i vurderingen er at aircon ikke virkede, men hotellet valgte at kompensere os med en middag, så alt i alt god service og et hotel som kan anbefales.

Luksuriøst og velbeliggende
Luksushotel i charmerende kolonial stil til en fin pris. Flot lobby og bar (Writers Bar). Fantastisk Concierge service som vu benyttede adskillige gange. Flot, stort og velindrettet værelse, dog en smule slidt, men pænt og rent. Eneste problem var at der var meget varmt på værelser (vi rejste i marts) og air-condition fungerede ikke. Vi talte med hotelmanageren som var opmærksom på problemet og velvilligt gav os et ekstra værelse at sove i hvor vinduerne kunne åbnes - meget fin service.

Virkelig en god oplevelse
Enormt hjælsomt, servicemindede og smilende personale. Man følte sig virkelig velkommen når man træder ind på hotellet. Servicen var helt i top. Lækre faciliteter. Gå afstand til sightseeing (Den forbudte by, maosoleum etc, samt lige ved siden af gode shoppingmuligheder. Kan varmt anbefales

Would give it a big 3 or small 4.
Stayed here for a week and it is a very nice hotel. Some things like the shower was broken though, which I didn't expect from a 5 star hotel. Everything else great.

Fantastisk flot hotel med masser af atmosfære. Klassisk Britisk/Amerikansk kolonistil lige som taget ud af bøgerne. En opgradering af VVS faciliteterne er dog påtrængt.

Pleasant.
The hotel is located 2 min. from the subway (Wangfujing) and the famouse shopping street at wangfujing str. The staff at the reception are very helpful and serviceminded. The room cleaning can be improved, as they didnt vacuum our room any of the 6 days during our stay. We had wifi connection only at the lobby, and not in our room, which was quite disappointing. all in all we were satisfied.

The facilities are well managed. Many staffs have been making efforts. But if you are looking for a true accessible room, this hotel may not be the best choice. Simple because the hotel was built prior to the consideration of the disabled population, the availability of accessible room is very slim.

Our stay at Beijing Nuo was fantastic. In particular, the staff made our time in Beijing easy to navigate and hassle free. We want to thank Luke Wang for being extraordinarily helpful in organising day trips for us from the hotel, and providing us with travel advice and tips. We also want to thank Sky for his expedient booking of taxis and concierge service. They have gone above and beyond. Would stay here again.

I chose this property mainly because of its historical and nostalgic ambience where early Chinese leaders had stayed or met foreign leaders. Despite the public areas of the hotel being well kept, the guest room looked tired with peeled wallpaper, chipped furniture, only rain shower and bath but not any hand-held shower. The room requires complete renovation to provide a comfortable stay experience. The reception is terrible. We had prepaid our rooms which was confirmed at the time of check in, but when we checked out early in the morning at 5.30 am to catch our flight, the reception staff claimed that he could not confirm our prepayment with their Accounts Department at such early time and we were charged again. I wonder why our prepayment had not already been recorded in their system in the first place. This incident of double payment did not happen in the other four hotels we had prepaid for our entire China trip. All in all, it was an unpleasant stay given the price we paid at AUD284 per night. My experience in the hotel destroyed my fond perception of this historical and nostagic property.

Amazing hotel in central location
We stayed in the historical wing of the hotel and it was a very large and comfortable room (although very warm!), and the hotel is as close to the forbidden city as you can get (and has a metro station very close as well). The staff were friendly and the breakfast had plenty of options as well

It is v near to shoppong disyruct of wangfujin. It's like 5 mins walk to wangfujin train station. The hotle has two wings- the older wing faces the back alleyway. Rooms are bigger. Was told that the newer wing that faces changan street and rooms were renovated bwfore Covid-19. The rooms are smaller/ standard but probably might be newer. On the website yhe hotel premise looks huge and sprawling but I hardly see cored around. May not be a bad thing though. Oh yes, hotel wifi somehow is not secure and doesn't seem to work. Most tomes we had to switch ot off and used our data plan instead.

A very pleasant stay
Beijing Nuo is a great hotel, location-wise. At walking distance from the amazing Wangfujing street and Tiananmen Square, delicious breakfast buffet, and an extremely helpful staff. I definitely would recommend the Nuo.

Staff was awesome! Checkin was a breeze and Coolio really went the extra mile to help me. Truly appreciated it and will come back. Great location, literally on the street with many attractions

The hotel is in the best location possible, being extremely close to Wangfujing shopping street, restaurants and Forbidden City. My tour guide said it is one of the oldest hotels in the city and used to host important guests, and it shows in the service of every single staff member. They all speak very good English and were really helpful, special mention to the concierge and breakfast team who were super attentive in their service standards. The room is spacious, clean with a very comfortable bed. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is due to the weak wifi signal, I needed to restart a few times for it to work and sometimes it didn’t work at all during blocks of time. Wifi is too important in a place like China especially since I was roaming, I hope the hotel fixes this soon.

Great hotel, clean, great service, great location
Beautiful historic hotel, right in the center of everything. Bucket list places of historic significance + amazing restaurants + great shopping all within walking distance. The service, cleanliness, and condition of the hotel were top notch. When we visited, the pool and one of the restaurants were temporarily closed but the 1st floor restaurant was filling in, and there were other choices within walking distance.

Great Stay!
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. We loved our room, that has much history and traditional Chinese decorations. It is a spacious room with very comfortable bed. We spent a couple weeks there and it felt like a home away from home.

Stay in this iconic hotel!
The hotel is so beautiful and the staff is super helpful and friendly. It is close to the Forbidden city and an amazing hotel to stay in. I ate in the downstairs lounge which is very elegant and the food delicious.

Old Classic
This lovely hotel is definitely one of the classics. The old girl has held up well and continues to provide comfort, style and service! The room was spacious and clean. The amenities are truly on point - organic and luscious smelling bath salts, soaps and shampoo. I got such a great deal on the room through Hotels dot com that I booked it even though I have an apartment close by.

7 nights peaceful stay
Good size room with living room space. Very private and quiet. However no view. Great location just 2mins walk down to Wangfujing subway. Great location at Wangfujing shopping street with all food and shopping choices. Will definitely consider again.
