Fantastisk hotel
Et rigtig lækkert hotel, det ligger tæt på SkyTrain, der tager dig rundt. MBK og Siam ligger 5 min væk med TukTuk. Udsigten fra rooftop hvor poolen ligger er helt fantastisk og såfremt du er villig til at stå tidligt op får man den smukkeste solopgang. Der var intet at sætte en finger på til morgenmaden, den var super lækker og indeholdt alt. Ved indcheckning blev vi spurgt om vi ville opgraderes for ca 100 kr pr nat. Og det var det hele værd. Kommer helt sikkert tilbage:) Servicen var 100% i TOP.

Helt fantastisk hotel personale!
Jeg elskede det her hotel. Det er enormt flot og lækkert. Men det der gjorde det endnu bedre end mange andre hoteller var deres personale. De var helt vildt hjælpsomme, glade og nede på jorden. Jeg har næsten lyst til at tage til Bangkok igen bare for at bo der!

Gode og rene værelser, room service er sent på dagen. Servicen var i top, de prøver så vidt muligt at kredse for en, de stod altid klar. Beliggenheden var perfekt, kun 5 min. gang fra BTS sky train, som er et must i Bangkok. Fra 14-17 er der en gratis snack bar på 2. etage, gratis mad og drikkelse. Kun 7-8 ligge pladser ved poolen. Super morgenmad

En særdeles venligt og imødekommende personale, der gav en rigtig fin service. Meget lækkert morgenmad med mange valg muligheder, både fra det thailandske men også europæiske morgenbord. Hotellet ligger meget centralt, meget tæt på den direkte jernbane fra lufthavnen.

I barely wrote any comments after my stay. If I wrote I was really not happy. The lady,Kaye looked very not patient to me when I checked in. I felt she ordered me to fill out checkin forms like I owed her something. I am not sure she was happy with her job or not. But I was unhappy when I checked in. Then, I checked google reviews of people’s stays. The same comments were also shown up. I think the front desk manager shall know what happened. The other staff were pretty nice and polite. And the facility was awesome. But Don’t let an unprofessional staff destroy your reputation

Ray the customer relations person was excellent and very helpful the whole time of our stay.He did above and beyond for us starting from arranging our transportation, gave information about the tourist attractions spot that we wanted to see or need to see, made our stay more comfortable less stressful and ending with good free snacks daily that he always reminded us about the snacks and entertainment with kids that made our stay more relaxing!

Every time i took a shower it would set the smoke detector off and front desk would send someone up to make sure i was not smoking in the room this happened 5 different times and was great having to explain to staff that im trying to take a shower just in a towel but other than that clean good facilitys and great view

This hotel is very close to Siam Paragon and MBK. It has some options for food if you walk around. The BTS is also very close (a con if you need complete silence to sleep). The room was very clean with only a few things looking out of place ( the air vents were hanging out of place a bit). The bed was comfortable. It is a firm but included a mattress topper. The bed is a bit high for those who might have mobility issues. The only thing was that the tub and the shower curtain were a bit dirty. They also will not let you check in until 2pm which was rough after traveling for 24 hours. They did take our bags. We opted to have breakfast at the hotel and then headed to the mall.

The property itself is great. Modern lobby and modern rooms. I stayed in an Akara Deluxe suite which had a large king size bed, bath and separate toilet room. The bed was comfortable. The shower had excellent pressure. The TV was very difficult to get working and logged into any streaming services. Minibar was well stocked and reasonably priced. The pool and pool area were good and clean. The barracuda rooftop bar was very nice and again well priced. Buffet breakfast had good choice. Some issues that were poor were that the bed linen and towels definitely were not changed everyday despite the room being asked to be made up. Staff appeared more preoccupied with their mobile phones than opening doors for guests. You were able to smoke drugs on the rooftop bar also which was not ideal. Staff members also had a very poor grasp of English as when asked if we could book afternoon tea 4 times (also showing a photo of the afternoon tea) we would not get through to them. The hotel is 5 star rated however, I would not agree it is. Other than the above issues, it was a comfortable stay however, I would try somewhere else in Bangkok if I were returning.

The rooms were nice, had a home feeling to them. The pool hours were short. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant could be better. I would say though, the breakfast was probably the best selection of food that the hotel has to offer.

Beautiful funky boutique hotel, was only there sadly ine quick night. Room is cool with large jetted tub open balcony. Wetbar.. and just neat layout. I think all all od thailand beds are hard from us stardatds.. we didnt get to use restarant or pool but checked out.. it was nice.

We had a wonderful stay in Akara Hotel. The staff were all so lovely and helpful - special mention for Kaye, Ray, Rich & Chay who were so courteous and kind. The hotel itself is beautiful with all the amenities you could need. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is very well situated to walk around the city with close transport links. This is a very nice hotel, and it was my second stay. The first time was in November 2019. The hotel is nice and near a train station. My room had a funny odor coming from one of the drains, which is why I’m rating this hotel a 4.

Hotel is ideally placed on the direct airport rail link, and therefore easy to utilise the other rail/metro options. Only negative was the fact that we had flown overnight and arrived at 0830am and the room wouldn’t be ready until 2pm. To be fair the reception staff were really good allowed us to have a shower and they we were able to sunbathe by the pool.

Loved this hotel. Wonderfully clean with great staff and facilities. The decor is well thought out with an eclectic mix of modern and decoish style. We had a really spacious room with a jacuzzi bath, separate shower and separate toilet. Marble and wooden floors with rugs made it really homely and comfortable. The view from the balcony was great. Fabulous to have a bit of live music on the 2nd floor (violinists) and delicious snacks were served which were really welcome in the afternoon pre-dinner. Nice pool with a view and above that a great rooftop bar which also served a selection of different food. Can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again on our return. Perfectly placed for the train journey from and to the main international airport at a very reasonable cost of just 40 baht!

Really nice boutique style hotel located on the Airport Rail Link (ARL). Very friendly staff and nice dining choices including a great breakfast and cute happy hour with creative canapés and beverages. Very walkable area close to BMK and Pratunam Market. The pool isn’t really much to speak of though.

Close to the airport railway link, which was very useful for getting around the city and the arrival/departure. Next to a noisy highway, but wasn't a major issue being in a big city where it's noisy everywhere. The room was in good condition for an older hotel, and everything was clean. Great service and friendly staff.

When you arrived in your taxi, two men rushed out to help you with your luggage. Everyone was very, very helpful and polite. Our room was huge. Afternoon tea was complimentary. We walked a mile or two to two shopping malls. We had dinner above the rooftop pool, which was very nice.

The Akara Hotel is a beautiful, classic hotel located in the center of Bangkok. The decor is stunning and elegant with marble floors and exquisite wall coverings throughout. The hotel has 17 floors and two elevators. We never had to wait for an elevator. I don’t know how they managed this, but it was greatly appreciated! The breakfast buffet was wonderful with a wide range of variety and selections. In addition, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view of Bangkok from the bar on the top floor was unbelievably beautiful and definitely a big draw for the hotel. However, nothing is totally without a problem or two. The television in our room was not working. We mentioned this to the woman at the front desk. She had someone look at it, but it still had not been fixed. Rather than waste additional time (there was always a small language barrier), we decided to forego the news for the week. We also had an unfortunate experience at the Filipino restaurant in the hotel. The concierge recommended a certain Filipino dish for us to try. The dish was described on the menu in a clear and certain manner. When our food came, however, it was totally unlike the dish described on the menu. It was inedible, but due to the language barrier, we were unable to explain why we were unsatisfied with the meal. Would suggest the waiters clearly explain the food choices on the menu, especially if they are different than what is pictured on the menu.
