"We were 5 women in our fifties away for our anual break together. We would like to thank Han for providing his lovely house-boat for our accomodation. The boat was full of charme with a lovely terrace overlooking the harbour and very central, and quite easy to find despite the roadworks. "We very much enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic!!! Many of the canals can have a lot of foot and bike traffic, especially at night. This location is close to everything, but on a quiet canal. We loved the funky old boat, but I would caution that the photos might be unintentionally misleading. "Wir hatten zwei tolle Tage auf dem schönen Hausboot! Es ist wirklich der reine Luxus dort. Wenn man reinkommt, ist es zwar sehr heiß, aber da man alles aufmachen kann, kühlt es auch schnell ab. Der Preis ist allerdings trotzdem sehr hoch. Der Check in ist relativ spät, das Check in Fenster zwischen 16:00 Uhr und 18:00 Uhr. Eher kurz. "Cozy and comfy houseboat with everything you need. The owner was very accommodating and maintained communication to you ensure we enjoyed our stay. We arrived on a Thursday and our first night was relaxing. However, party goers from Friday night lead to a 2am awakening to yelling and screaming on Saturday morning. Leider hat bei uns der Mülleimer sehr starke nach Aschenbecher gestunken, dieser Geruch hat sich leider Tage gehalten. Zumindest immer dann wenn man die Schublade zur Mülltonne öffnete. "Wonderful experience. Martyn was very hospitable. The location is quiet and across from the zoo. Waking up to elephants and zebras was incredible. We enjoyed a nice hit tea on top of the boat in the mornings while we watched boaters and swimmers come by. We truly enjoyed this property and it’s fully stocked kitchen supplies. "

Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. We have stayed in Amsterdam before but have never experienced it like this and would highly recommend. It is a destination in itself."

"Wir hatten uns so sehr auf unseren Aufenthalt gefreut, mussten jedoch bei der Ankunft feststellen, dass das komplette Hausboot mit Spinnen übersäht war! Schrecklich! Der Bewohner nebenan warnte uns sogar, dass man aufpassen muss, dass einem keine Spinne über den Körper läuft. Selbst im Haus waren Spinnen. Wir konnten hier nicht bleiben, haben uns ein Hotel gebucht und sind direkt wieder abgereist."

"If your looking for the quintessential Amsterdam experience this is it! The house boat is close to everything while still being is a quiet residential neighborhood. Robertino is as gracious a host as you could ask for and will do what ever he can to make your stay in Amsterdam wonderful. We cannot recommend this houseboat highly enough. We loved our stay and now feel we have friends here."
