At our arrival we were put up in double rooms (we had booked and paid for a triple rooms). The staff told us we could have an extra bed in the double and then it would be a triple room. I complained loudly but was told to take it up with Expedia. I tried to call expedia, but while calling they "magically" found triple rooms available and moved us, not forgetting to tell us that they had to reshuffle the entire hotel just for us! As if! The rooms were decent but the double beds and the sofabeds were terrible. I slept on the sofabed all week and is still being treated for back pain and neck strain due to the incredibly bad bed. The Double bed wasn't much better. You could feel the bedsprings all over, terrible. Even my 48 kg daughter didn't get much sleep due to the springs. We asked for a top mattress without any luck. We were instead provided a thin blanket that didn't help at all.
All lifts are really slow, stairs are faster, even with luggage.
We had full board, that was a mistake. There's a large buffet, but the majority of the hot food is overcooked (dry meat). You can choose to have the onsite chef cook you whatever is available that day. On the day where they had a fish and pork chops the chef chose to cook both on the same frying plate. Disgusting to have a porkchop tasting like fish. Never again. Breakfast was ok.
The Waiters in the restaurant were welcoming, polite and very helpful, top marks for them. Cleaning staff was also helpful, but never above and beyond.
