Hello Claudia thank you very much for choosing my property and recommending it. I am very pleased you enjoyed your stay and my info have been useful. Just to let you and other people know you can find parking nearer, because apartment being at Porta Terra, ancient entry to the village old town ,enjoys the advantages of being plunged in the characteristic old town( restaurants, café, nice cobbled little street and squares, towers, arches dating middle ages . ) and the advantages of being few steps to sea, having parking at the nearby port or around piazza Sulis ,being 15 minutes walk to the sandy beach, one step to the fresh market and supermarket and baker's, pharmacy, etc.. Gentile Roberto G. innanzitutto grazie per aver prenotato presso la mia struttura e grazie per aver menzionato la bella posizione del mio appartamento Emerald. Aggiungo che , se non si é reso conto dove si trovava, glielo ricordo : in un centro storico immerso nel folklore e nei profumi inebrianti di Alghero. Qui lei ha prenotato. Si sa che il centro é vivo e pulsante! Ma l'appartamento é molto tranquillo perché situato al secondo e ultimo piano, come sottolinteato dai turisti che l'hanno preceduta e che hanno soggiornato qui e menzionato nelle loro review. Il posteggio come le condizioni metereologiche sfuggono al mio controllo. La spiaggia di sabbia é a 15 minuti a piedi !! Sono abbastanza stupita dalla sua recensione, contestabile, anche perché ho la certezza e conferma di oltre 85 reviews positive fatte da altrettanti ospiti che l'hanno preceduta nel mio appartamento Emerald non solo su questo sito ma su molti altri.. Nessuno mai ad oggi si é lamentato dei miei serramenti in legno di pino della zona, del bagno , delle mie pentole e del badge che rappresenta una sicurezza per il turista (peraltro richiesto dal contratto di assicurazione che la casa dispone). Ma se questo commento non é sospetto e vuole essere costruttivo, esamineró con attenzione e lente di ingrandimento le mie pentole e , se necessario, le sostituirò .La invitio a tornare nella mia struttura, assicurandole il massimo del comfort”.

Cynthia, so kind of you! Thank you for the great review So sorry for the wifi. In some areas of the pedestrian historic center connection is not easy There are many wifi free spots just outside the old town and in. The historical center is traffic free. But the apartment is well situated at porta Terra because parkings are around.. 5 minutes walk and more is not so hard..It is almost impossible to have private parking areas for renters in the pedestrian area.Luckily...the center is so beautiful and can t be damaged by the presence of cars!!! The apartments which are located 'more inside' are more difficult to be reached on foot. Porta terra represents the border between the city and the old town. A car is not essential (only in off seasons to reach the nearby beaches if you like exploring) you can walk along Bastioni, or stroll in the little streets and squares of the old town. .walk to the long sandy beach Lido, ..A good public trasport can take you everywhere if you like exploring the neighborwood of Alghero, or you can rent bikes and scooters. There is a beautiful alley for bikes leading to beaches. The more you stay in Alghero the more you will appreciate its beauty and you will get used to the new reality, probably different from your habits..I am waiting for you again .
