Room had been lived in (not cleaned) and missing a refrigerator. I will say the staff graciously moved us to another room promptly and with much courtesy. There was no complimentary breakfast and no creamer for the in room coffee.

The good news is that the bed & amount of covers / selection of pillow weight & fluffiness was good. Otherwise, there needed to be attention to mold on the bathroom at ceiling & wall. Frustration with housekeeping...had been 2 minutes into a hot shower to accomplish Goal #1-washing hair...only to find there to be 2 conditioners on wall (dispensing shampoo container units)...seemed a bit dirty. my guess is I didn't get top choice of rooms, cut w/ tax still at top $. No free coffee in lobby (without buying breakfast); room coffee maker sufficed. The little Bistro bar & food nook was run by a NICE woman who WAS professional and courteous, so the $15 cocktail (add tip) was worth it... Had a small 'walled" area to catch up on news/(TV) and it had comfie divan seating.

Needs some TLC- pretty tired ol’ building

This Marriott hotel is one of the most tired hotels we have stayed at. Everything was well worn, the carpets in the hallway were dirty, we were not getting daily house keeping, which is fine except we do need coffee and cups everyday and it was difficult to find someone to bring those to our room. The ladies at the front desk were usually talking to other employees so it felt like I was interrupting if I needed to ask for something. One time there was an argument happening between 3 housekeepers at the front counter. Our keys stopped working twice during the week and we had to get them re-keyed, as did everyone else in our group, all on different floors. One of the outside doors wouldn’t open at all- the one nearest the elevator, so that was inconvenient.

All the entrance doors card readers didn’t work. Had to switch rooms because a/c wasn’t working.

The room was dirty. There were stains on the walls and the ottoman looked dirty. Also the bed was flimsy; it moved when I sat on the edge.

Place needs major overhaul. Things are worn out or broken. Check in wasn’t pleasant, maybe she was worn out too. Overall not the standard we were looking for.
