The pool was enjoyed by all and the large outdoor dining table made for memorable dinners. The location was accessible to many great activities including local beaches and boat tours. "My husband and I brought our three daughters, their partners, and five grandchildren (ages 17 months to 11 years) for a paradise vacation. Having never been to Kauai, it was a little challenging to find the perfect home.This dreamy home was EXACTLY what we needed, with four primary bedrooms with en suites, as well as a room for all the kids. We all had plenty of space. It was equipped with more than everything we needed! First aid kit, Tommy Bahama beach chairs (5), a pull beach wagon, lots of pool toys, a full kitchen with all necessities including a very cool ice making machine!We were very happy when we found the private and beautifully landscaped paths to the shops as well as the beach. These were very easy walks of less than .5 mile.Our communication with the property manager, Lauren, was wonderful. She was kind, responded quickly to our texts, and promptly accommodated all of our requests. The high chair and Graco pack and play were perfect for my 17 month old grandson (they stayed in the upstairs primary, which was perfect for them and quiet for the baby during nap time, even with all the other kids making noise).My husband and I really enjoyed the separate Ohana room, that had its own private entrance right in front of the main home. To be honest, I was very nervous about spending so much on a VRBO; however, IT WAS SO WORTH IT! We would definitely do it again, and the home was even more beautiful than we expected or than depicted in photos. "

"If you enjoy the view of the ocean, hearing the waves crashing on to the rocks.. birds and parakeets at night and also we got to see turtles every evening.. this is the place. Local shops. Love it! Thank you for sharing your home. "

"House had an amazing view, living space perfectly suited for us, eating outside all the time, pool and hot tub just perfect for our family. Bedroom arrangements were also perfect for us- 2 parents with 3 young kids split between two bedrooms, 1 couple in the guest house, and myself and my daughter in a bedroom together. Some details that might be helpful for future guests: It might not be obvious from photos that there’s no big indoor dining table. It worked out just fine for us to fit all the adults at the big round table on the covered porch, while little kids were at the kitchen island for meals, but others might have an issue. The A/C in the guesthouse was broken. We notified the house manager, and she said they had meant to order the part to fix it but hadn’t gotten it in time. It was thanksgiving week, so getting it fixed never happened. We aren’t huge A/C people, and the weather was pretty mild, so it was warm but not a huge issue. Could be for others who are hot sleepers! The water pressure was pretty low, so the folks with long hair had a hard time fully washing the suds off. The bathrooms were quite large and nice besides, though! The house management was communicative and prompt. We requested an early check-in which they allowed. That was great! "
