We booked an Ollen apartment last minute since our flight was cancelled and it turned out to be a great choice. Our room was very comfortable (with plenty of room for our family of 4), the facilities were all good and the staff were some of the most welcoming we’ve ever experienced. Highly recommended.

Hotel Eremo is a former monastery. You are greeted immediately by name by the friendly staff. The property is serene, dining is available outside in a courtyard, at the pool, in your room. There is an amazing breakfast buffet.
There is a spa or cooking classes by the chef which need to be reserved in advance.
It is necessary to have a car to visit the beach or surrounding towns. We also drove to the oldest winery in Sicily for a tour, tasting, and lunch.

"We loved our two-night night stay here. Our room faced the old city and loved the view. Excellent breakfast in a charming ground floor of rock walls. A highlight was the quiet area, about a 10 minute walk from main square in old city. Free parking in a lot next to hotel appreciated."

"Pros: nice small pool, the view, the waves 10-15 meters from house, friendly owner. Quiet headland location, Scoglitti village 10 mins drive with basic amenities nice grocers and bakers etc. No tourists in October. Informal and simple lifestyle for a chill out.
