The roses out by the entrance to the pool gorgeous and amazing. My only complaint was having to ask for the air conditioner remote. Even though the nights were cool, getting the air to transfer outside with out movement was impossible. Oh! And not a bad location if you have a car."

"We stayed at Casa Mancia for one night, while walking on the Via Di Francisco. It's a nice hotel, beds were comfortable, it was clean, bathroom was nice. We had a simple, but tasty (nice cakes) breakfast in price. I'd say it's a nice place to stay especially if you've got a car. For us - it was a bit far from the city centre (over 20 mins by foot), but still we were happy with our stay in all regards."

"This was our first visit to Assisi and it did not disappoint. The location of the property was perfect. We had the best views of everything. Our balcony was so perfect. My only complaint was that we didn't have more time to spend there as this was only a 2 day stay. I loved being right next to the large gate that took us into the city. We were also so close to the buses. The breakfast was wonderful! So much variety and everything was fresh and tasty. The staff was all very friendly and...

"So much great to say about this place. I travel a lot, really a lot, and this place is utterly sweet. The brothers who manage the place are fantastic… helpful, cheerful, enthusiastic, charming. The property is spotlessly clean, effortlessly comfortable and feels like home (with only ten or so rooms). "I gave it 5 stars in most areas considering it’s a 3 star hotel. So many travelers, specially us Americans, rate their stays on five star hotel expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a power outage for about 1 hrs but they dealt with it. I wanted another night which was not available but they found me a room just down the street and checked me in to it at 9am. I liked Il Duomo and the staff and recommend it. "
