Overview

This tour takes us through breathtaking landscapes and beautiful scenery.
To arrive in Siglufjörður, we will have to pass through 3 tunnels, but our tour will take us a bit further and through the 4th tunnel to an enjoyable viewing point.
We will be making short stops in the Villages of Hjalteyri, which is quite a unique town from the herring era.
We'll pass through Dalvík and Ólafsfjörður, two nice fishing towns.
There will be time to explore Siglufjörður.

The Herring era museum is an award winning museum which gives us a good feeling about how life was in the herring era which was the big player in getting Icelanders out of the turf houses. Passangers get the opportunity to go and explore the museum (depending on their opening hours)
